Cheap alternative to the Horse Paste Safeguard
I use this for horses, as it is a lot cheaper than the horse dewormer but is the same product. I primarily use it for my foals. They seem to like the flavor and it does a good job of getting rid of worms if they have them. I dose every six to eight weeks at a slightly higher dose than their body weight. I have used this product in this manner now for 5 years or so on around 40 foals, plus maybe 50-70 adult horses. Works great and gets rid of large strongyles!Edit: three years later and I still love this product. It still works for my herd and I’ve now used it on about twice as many foals aged 6 weeks and older. It kills worms and I see them in the fences if the foals have them within 2 days of dosing. I love this product.

Chemical Odor — Not Safe to Use
I’ve used this dewormer for years and know exactly what it’s supposed to smell like — it has either no scent or a faint sweet one. The bottle I received had a strong, unmistakable odor of nail polish remover (acetone) the moment I opened it.That is not normal for this product, and no medication meant for animals should ever smell like that. I would never give something with that kind of chemical smell to my dog.I trew it away immediately and want to warn other pet owners: if your bottle smells like this, do not use it. This could be a bad batch, storage issue, or worse — either way, it’s not safe.

Great wormer!!
Started using this worming for all my puppies. Got the big bottle so it would last me longer. I also use this for my goats. It's the same as the panacur they use at the vet. Great stuff and very safe, even if you accidentally give too much.
