Love everything about the poles. Nice cork grip. Feel good about hiking with them. My very old poles literally fell apart and I wanted to replace them with a reputable set.

The product is great, just like nearly all Black Diamond gear is. The problem is that this product is advertised as coming as a pair! Everything in the description of this product names it as "Poles"! Pleural, not singular! The product description leads you to believe that you are buying poles, pleural, more than one. The photos of the product show poles! Two! Other "Poles" from BD come as and are described as pairs, as POLES! But with this, you are actually only going to get one. And when you scroll down to read the very fine print under product details, you then see the number of "products" in the package listed as 1. Very irritating.

I’ve been hiking with one pole for years and had never tried hiking with two. But my pole was worn out and I had to replace it. I searched for months for the right poles and finally chose the Black Diamond. These poles are well made and easy to adjust. I added rubber tips to keep the points from wearing out. I also really like the cork handles. My hands don’t sweat with them. Hiking with two poles is definitely the way to go. Easier on the body. Be sure to check a video on YouTube to get the proper way to walk with them.

My bride loves the color, handles and ease of collapsing for transport. I love the top of the line construction.

Served my mom well, nice and sturdy and light, locking mechanisms a little tight but very secure.

I ordered these walking poles as due to go abroad at the weekend and needed them desperately.When I opened the poles both had the lower poles missing.Not only did I not have them for my walking holiday but I had to get a printer and rtn them..so peed off.
