Can these be used to carry pills?

They can. Pills may slip out of the opening during normal walking conditions. I've used they since childhood for coins to save wear and tear on pants pockets.

What are the dimensions? I would like to know size as some are made small and some are made a little larger.

3'' long 2'' wide they are a good size

The red and orange photos of the holders don't state whether they are made in the usa, are all the colors made in usa?

Megan, they are all made by the same company in the USA.When I was a child they came in black, red, green, blue and I think a couple other colors.

Can you fit $10 of quarters or $2 of nickels in them?

Did you seriously think 40 coins would fit in a container measuring 3 x 2 x 0.5 inches?
