Extremely Wieldable, Cheap But Good.
I needed to replace the electric trimmer I'd been using for almost 15 years, so we'll see if this one lasts that long. But even if it doesn't, it's a very good trimmer. Especially for it's price point of something like 13 dollars. Over the two months or so since I got this, I've used it a few times: to trim my dad's hair (where caps it comes with came in particularly handy, though one part required using a comb to trim particular wisps of hair), to cleaning up my thick winter beard so that it looked nice, and then today when I used it to shave off most of my beard, my arms, and legs because it's getting warmer. It does sometimes require more than one pass to completely trim down an area, but that's nothing new for me, and usually happens on the more contoured parts of my body. I had no problem putting the product directly against my skin and using it, and I have sensitive skin, so it's worth noting that it has not drawn blood on my while doing this. That said, I was careful while running it over areas with bug bites and other raised skin locations. The important part is that the blades are small enough that it's not easy to actually draw blood on yourself with this thing, you'd probably have to be trying to do so.Which brings me to my last point, and the headline: It's extremely wieldable. It is very light weight, fits neatly in the hand (or, at least my hand), doesn't have a wire to get entangled with, and cuts hair well. So even the times I had to make a second pass over an area, it wasn't difficult to do so.I have not yet tried the extended grip function, because I haven't tried shaving my back or shoulders with it yet, but with how easy this thing has been to use so far, I imagine that it will be quite handy for that task and that the real difficulty will be seeing what I'm doing with my back. But that might just be a matter of setting up a small fan to blow on my back and then shaving by feeling the difference of how insulated my skin is to determine where to run the trimmer. Or a second mirror.Anyway: great product, I'm very happy with it, and I hope it doesn't turn around and break on me any time soon.update 2023: It still works. The motor slows down as the power in the batteries drain, but once I replaced those it went back to working just fine. At one point I dropped it on the floor and it seemed to go flying apart, but that's how I found out you can detach the blade. I cleaned what little hair had gotten stuck in it and it all fit back together and continues to work fine. I have used to to shear thick beard (which requires going at a steady speed rather than trying to shove it through as fast as possible). I have used the extension function to shave my shoulders, and it generally works fine to well. I've used it to trim my dad's hair multiple times at this point, and between the spacer provided and a comb, I haven't had a problem with it. I think the only times I've had issues are when it was deep summer and I was sweating while shearing body hair off and it seemed to have slow down issues. However, turning it off, wiping it off, and giving it a minute to cool off was enough to having it back to working just fine. The main thing I try to avoid doing with it is using it while it's extended, because most of it's weight is in the part extending out, and that can feel flimsy if you're just holding the handle to try and use it at full extension. The price seems to still be right around 13 bucks, so the fact that it can feel a little cheap sometimes is what you get when you pay that little for an electric razor. However, this thing has already outlasted electric toothbrushes that I've paid similar prices for. So it's cheap but good, and I hope it keeps lasting.

Gets hard-to-reach places
I've only used this a few times, but it definitely helps you reach the tough spots like the back of the head. It's excellent for trimming using just the clippers with no attachments, but I had some trouble using the attachments. First, they aren't labeled, so it's tough to compare them to regular clipper attachments (like no. 3 or no. 4 etc.). Second, my using them to cut my hair means I basically can use only one hand if I'm using bathroom sink mirrors since I have to lean backwards for a good view and I need my other hand to support myself against the counter. So when clipping my hair it's hard to get it to make good contact with the trimmer under the attachment. The hair tends to float on top of the attachment and not go through the slots and against the cutting portion of the tool.Using the attachments resulted in my hair being very short where the trimmer touches the head and to cut the hair longer where it met the attachment. That tends to make the hair very short, maybe shorter than you wanted, near the hair line and places nearer the hair line.I'm still learning how this thing works, so I will probably get better results as I figure it out. It's very easy to trim near the hair line, but it's hard to trim hair to the exact length you want away from the hairline.Overall, it works well - certainly better than using just scissors like I had been doing. But I wish the manual gave suggestions and pictures on how to use it with the attachments. The built in light went out, but it doesn't help you see better anyway, so that wasn't a problem.

Glad I too ignored the negative reviews; Cut my hair with it yesterday very nicely and easy to use
Cut my Pandemic-long hair with this cutter yesterday and everything went just fine. I am certainly glad I ignored the negative reviews, especially the ones about the batteries. Nobody is stopping the complainers from using rechargeable batteries if they prefer but as a home automation fan I know that there are a lot of drawbacks to rechargeable batteries, so I have always preferred to keep fresh AA and AAA batteries on subscription from Amazon. The unit seems well-made and worked just the way it was described and did a nice job, and the inclusion of so many different size cutter guards really added value to the product's versatility. The product does what it is supposed to do and does it well.Maybe the negative reviewers are barbers afraid of losing business (LOL!) but they don't need to worry as nobody expects this product to compare to a professional barber's haircut but it will do just fine until I get around to a trip to the barbershop.

Pretty good clipper. Be careful!
Like other reviews you have to be extremely careful not to cut a big chunk of hair off. I am always caution when using this but I still use it in a regular bases. It’s good for the top of a man’s hair that just needs a little thinning out. I do wish there was a size in between the two smallest attachments. The 3 is too close a cut and the next one up is way too big it doesn’t cut much unless it’s really thick.
