I didn't believe the other reviews either, but I bought this hat anyway. I bought this hat because the other brands just went on an on about the environment and sustainability but said nothing about the hat itself. Pro tip: Product quality first, THEN virtue signal. Yes, this hat magically warms your head but does not allow your head to get too hot. Yes, this works in wind also. Yes, it is super soft. Yes, it folds up very small and fits in my jacket pocket. Mine was NOT lined with microfiber as some reported. At first I was upset, but since it is super soft, not itchy, and works great, that was all I needed. If you are buying a hat for the spider or skeleton print, then why are you still reading this review? Just buy this one (it is also pretty cheap) and wear it when it counts, and wear the other one (not so cheap) when you are showing off.

Honestly I don’t wear these types of hats. Never in fact. However, after moving to the Poconos and selling cars - I had to spend time cleaning snow off cars in the dead of winter. This kept my bald head warm and it was airy if that makes sense! It’s very soft and high quality. 5 stars. I would recommend it.

Nice stylish and comfortable toboggan

I think this may be the first hat I have ever bought that looks good (perfect navy color which really brings out the color of my dark blue eyes) and performs well. The merino allows me to sweat and it isn't drenched/wet later on. And it is still warm enough. If I am not exercising I will use the Danish Endurance fleece hat, but beware of exercising in that one, it will retain the sweat and be soaked. This hat is decently warm, not same level of warmth as the fleece on obviously. The comfort is good, but it isn't as comfy as their other merino beanie, which isn't as warm, nor as comfy as their fleece. But the comfort is still decent/good enough. This will be my main go to hat six months out of the year when I need a hat, except on really cold days when I won't exercise. You can't tell from the pics, but it is a very good looking hat as well, mainly due to the color? Hard to say why but it looks better on me than most any other hat does.

This is a good looking hat! It’s so hard to shop when you can’t touch and feel something, but I bought this for my husband and it’s really really nice looking, stretched perfectly to fit his head and had a modern styling to it. Great WOOL quality and not bulky. This is an investment piece. You will have this for many years. I’m sure of it.

This is such a nice beanie. Fits perfectly and keeps my head warm. Love the material - a blend of merino wool and recycled polyester. So nice, I bought a second in a different color!

Run of the mill wool-like hat branded as "Danish" but guess what? It's Chinese, surprise! I would have to say 95% of things sold today are made in Chine and I am offended when manufacturers try and brand their wares as made anywhere but China. Nothing special about this hat. It keeps head warm. I will probably lose it before it wears out.
