Easiest, cleanest filter changes!
I love these service kits and being able to easily and cleanly change them out regularly. They fit any biorb aquarium but need to be changed more often for larger bio loads. The filter quality is a medium permeable sponge allowing for the filter to potentially get clogged if not changed regularly enough but not so fine that they clog in a week, which would cause it to lose suction. I change my filter out once a month but keep healthy bacteria with a coarse donut shaped sponge (cut to fit) surrounding the bottom around the filter as a pre-filter that doesn’t need to be changed except every couple years.
