Flavorful! Worth to try
Always replenish Kikkoman Memmi soup base, this is first time trying this brand. We soba with this soup base. We are very satisfied with the flavor.

It’s delicious, and holds up well with lots of ingredients
Very happy with this soup base it is so very tasty and you can fill your cold soup with tofu, noodles and tons of vegetables and still have delicious flavor, I highly recommend this cold soup base , yes !

Japanese cuisine
As Japapanese person who lives in the states, this product is my must have in the pantry!! We eat udon noodle so anytime I cook it I use it, and this is making feel like home. I have 4 star because it’s little expensive but it’s coming from Japan so I guess it’s a given. I like the size and how easy it can be used in any cuisine when you want to put little bit umami. It lasts longer in fridge.

Makes delicious udon soup!! Just add water + boil
Love this soup base!! It is perfect and all you need to make a delicious bowl of udon noodle soup right in your own home! Mix with water, one part soup base and 2 to 3 parts water in a pot. You can change the ratio based on how salty you want the soup to be. Once it starts boiling I add in the noodles and after a bit, voila, you have yourself a very simple but amazingly tasty udon soup & noodles! I highly recommend buying this if you crave and love udon soup! It’s a million times easier than purchasing mirin, dashi, and soy sauce to try and concoct the soup yourself! The taste is already perfect. Note: when heating the soup base concentrate you won’t be able to taste the full saltiness until it is warm/hot! (Warning so you don’t keep adding more soup base to your pot.) Once you find the ratio that suits your taste buds —-> instant comfort food unlocked.

Received it on the 27th, and the expiration date is 08/2024. It is impossible to finish in 3 months, and this is a non-refundable item. No sense in buying this here.

Incredible Japanese Soup Base
This is full of flavor and I will be using it on many foods and in other dishes. A wonderful unique flavor.

Short shelf life.
Wish the shelf life was longer. My favorite soup base. Little pricy but worth it if you have no other choice.
