Silent. Efficient. Modular. Perfect for Sonnet Breakaway Box eGPU
This SF600 PSU was installed into a 350W Sonnet Breakaway eGPU enclosure. I bought this PSU as I trust Corsair to make a high quality product that is super reliable and efficient. Sonnet, in their wisdom, used a common PSU type.. which allows its customers to swap out the PSU they provide with an aftermarket PSU such as this one. I could have paid the cost of two of these PSUs to buy a version of the Sonnet Breakaway that is comparable in PSU wattage.. but why? Then I would have a no-name crappy PSU in my eGPU enclosure powering my ridiculously expensive video card. Instead, I bought their lowest tier (cheapest) Sonnet Breakaway Box, then swapped the PSU with this one. The PSU swaps in perfect and since its module you only need to install the exact cables you need. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072L9QTZT If I could pick one thing wrong with it.. it is the smallest thing really. If I had the ability to flip the power switch, that would be terrific. When I install this into the Breakaway box, the PSU's power switch sits so that what should be on (tipped upward) is actually off. Not a big deal at all. But I wanted to mention this in case there is anyone out there at Corsair paying attention. ;)

have become summarily disappointed in both products
I had purchased both the 500W SFX-L and the 600W SX600-G for an NCase compact gaming PC project I was working on, and over time, have become summarily disappointed in both products. The 500W: - Too large to accommodate a full sized GPU in this case... though not a knock specifically against this product, it is something to consider on smaller builds. - The Fan wobbles and makes a rubbing sound. This is a complaint I've read both here, on Newegg, and other various forums. Thought it works in "Silent" mode, even at low levels of load the fan spins up, and is noticeably audible. This was a big problem for me as one of my build parameters was to be ultra-quiet The 600W: - Started to fail after only 1 year of operation. - The fan is extremely loud, and spins up quickly with even minimal loading. Many people have pointed this out, and the only real solution is to replace the fan in it with a similar sized noctua. - Runs noticeably warmer than it's 500W sibling. The options are limited for small form factor power supplies, and both of these have their faults. I would highly advise steering away from the 600W supply as it does have repeatedly reported reliability issues. Both of the supplies have issues with noise from the fans. Luckily there are other options now. Anyone looking for an SFX power supply should do themselves a favor and check out the Corsair SF600: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-SF600-Performance-Power-Supply/dp/B01CGI5M24/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1465937155&sr=1-1&keywords=corsair+sf600 I've had this power supply installed in my machine since the Silverstone started failing, and I am 100% satisfied to date. It runs extremely silent and cool. The only knock I have against it are the cables that you have to use, but that is a nitpick compared to reliability. This is a must get for SFX PSU needs

Excellent Power in a Small Package - 4.5 / 5
The Corsair SF600 is a great powersupply in a small package. It powers my system beautifully. Power draw from the wall tends around 380W for my system under load which is right in the high efficiency mark for this power supply. I am running a GTX 1070 on a Maximus 8 Gene motherboard. Intel Core i7 6700K as the processor, running at stock turbo. I also recommend reading the review done by JohnnyGuru. This power supply is probably one of the best values on the market. Not to mention this is TINY. I was surprised by the rating and the power delivery in such a small power supply. Corsair offers a 7 year warranty on this product, which is fantastic. This isn't my first Corsair PSU. I previously purchased an AX750i and was not disappointed. I wish I could deduct half a star because of the 24-pin power connector. It could be 50-100mm longer to fit with my particular build. I opted to purchase sleeved cables from Cable Mod to rectify the length, and look badass.

It fits!
I have stuffed this power supply into over 50 builds, over the last two years. NONE of the 50 have caused us a single issue. That is nice, since we warranty our work. Normally the PS is the main failure worry I have, but now it's fans (since we don't use spinning drives anymore) - I fully blame Corsair for that (we only use their supplies (10 years now)). It's quite. It fits. It has plenty of power for modern gaming PCs. It's reliable for workstations. It's affordable (in the business world, teens looking for a gaming PC - might have a different opinion). It comes in a flashy box with a velvet bag that everyone I know has now (and likes). They handle crappy ac power well. That alone has saved us thousands in onsite component repair. I almost RMA-ed one once (realized a board fault and canceled the RMA) - Corsair was "business friendly" in manor and willing to help - they issued the RMA without a fight. The only con I have, is that it's better to buy them retail than through a distributor, pricing is near the same and shipping, warranty service is better on the retail side. If you buy 100s at time that may be different - but we buy them 5 - 10 at a time. Okay another con - I have a ton of velvet bags now and no other swag - at some point they should send me a invite to a company party or at least a t-shirt ;)

Fantastic SF PSU, but the cables too long and stiff
My Old 200 watt SF PSU that came with my mini ITX Computer Case failed. It's no surprise that it failed, since most of the PSUs that you get with a cheap cases will not last. Mine lasted 5 years, then died. I was lucky that the old PSU didn't kill my Motherboard, and just died gracefully. I was so ecstatic that Corsair makes SF PSUs, because I own other Corsair ATX PSUs and they are very efficient, silent and are some of the best PSUs you can buy! Hands Down! PROS: This SF PSU looks tiny and has a nice weight to it. Being full modular is a great edition since I don't have much room in my tiny case. The fan never turns on and it doesn't get hot! CONS: I took off 1 star: This is full modular, BUT the cables that are required, are too long and stiff. You need to get power to your mother board and SSDs/Hard Drives at minimum. With just those 2 cables plugged in, those cables almost filled my ITX mini case. I had to forcefully place the cables so that I could get the case closed. The new cables took up much more space in my case then the original PSU did.

Wonderful High Voltage PSU and Size!!!
Amazing PSU! This thing fits almost in the size of my palm and I don't even have very big hands. The surface area is very small leaving a tiny footprint for small form factor builds. I'm using this in a Dan Case A4SFX v.3 and there is already a perfectly placed section to mount this. Having something this size like with 600 watts of power is a great feeling. I never have to worry about being unvoltage when running a powerful i7 and GPU card. The build quality and craftsmanship of this cooler was indeed well made. I would definitely buy another one if I was building another small form factor. Only drawback are the cables are very strong so bending them or making the cables fit in a tight space can be a challenge. Overall this doesn't necessarily take away from it's quality.

Silent during everyday computing, Still quiet during gaming
I wanted a power supply that is silent during everyday operation and this one does the job perfectly. The fan does not turn on until past 120W which is more than enough for normal computing (I've had Photoshop open, while watching a movie and had 90+ Chrome tabs open, trying to draw as much power for 'everyday usage'). While gaming, the fan ramps up but even at the highest speed the fan is still quieter than my GPU so hence not very noticeable. I do not have a dedicated power supply tester but I kept a benchmark running for 24 hours testing for stability. I did not notice any drops and the PSU was outputting around 550W the entire time. I like that they included flat black cables which are great however I wish they were a little softer/malleable as I had some trouble routing them around my case. P.S. The first one I ordered had a very noticeable coil whine even when powered off (while plugged in) which got louder as load increased. I assumed this was a faulty product and ordered a replacement and this one works perfectly.

This thing is adorably small but seriously powerful and seriously quiet
600w psu in a super tiny super dense little brick using high end components and very clean internals no globs of glue or anything like that This 600w psu is extremely quiet even while powering an r7 3700x and a GTX 1080 and its super small dense profile helps keep my small pcs cables managed and out of the important places, all of the cables were perfectly sized for my fractal design node 202, very happy with both of my corsair psus and will keep buying them in the future if they keep their standards like this

Tiny, very quiet
Never installed an SFX power supply, easy install, limited connections (due to size obviously, and power limit) but overall great product. Corsair does it again.

Perfecta!!
