AntennaX 50 Cal Black Bullet (5.5-inch) Ammo Antenna for Dodge Ram 1500

Package arrived on time and in pristine condition. How ever this product comes with an abundance of multi adaptable parts for your vehicle. Mine is a 2017 Ram 1500 Sport.Yes I did match this vehicle to the correct kit, like I stated before, there was everything I needed to retro install this antenna. "Except" for the one actual threaded stud I need to adapt this to my truck. 1/4-20 x 7/8 double sided threaded stud. Which you will find many various types of these in your kit. Mine did not have it. Yes you could force it to fit with the ones that come with it, but you shouldn't force it to cross thread, it may not come apart if you do so. Could not find a contact for the seller of this item. Unfortunately I had to go to Home depot to get one. Almost any hardware store should have it. Other than that quandary, I am happy with the product and am waiting to see if someone tries to steal it. No I didn't use any "Lock tight" or other anti-theft thread locker. If someone is desperate enough to take it, then they can take without damaging the fender.

The antenna looks decent, you can see where they wrapped it in some fake carbon look. Does not work as a replacement to your factory antenna, I am unable to get any type of signal even being 50 feet from a radio station.It’s good for looks but that’s about it with this bullet style antenna.

Missing pieces. Bolt broken off inside bullet?. Impossibe to remove. Also impossible to attach to truck Idk. I think they sent me one that someone else had already returned? Seemed like it had been repackaged. Im sending back for a refund. Going to try something else. Even if it does work theres no locking device. Only a matter of time before someone walks by and simply untwists this with their bare hands very easily, and walks away. Maybe if it was all correct when I got it I would have liked it cuz it does look cool. Maybe I'm wrong about the locking device too but I don't see anything here that's going to lock. Seems like all hand tightening to me...

Looks great on my truck, FM works fine, but AM does not work the slightest bit. Pure static. Called the manufacturer, they had no recommendations, "it's mostly supposed to be aesthetically pleasing." Seeing how I listen to AM 90% of the time, this will not do. Real bummer, I really liked how it looks. Returned.

So far no issues, is what it says it is! Comes with many screw bases so if you change vehicles later you could use on something else.Radio reception is not as great as the stock antenna but that is to be expected. I always listen to SiriusXM anyway and that is a separate antenna.So far the finish has held up, has gone through a few car washes and some horrible weather.

Dont grab the carbon wrap during install ! it will warp and stretch easily damaged mine in several spotswhich shows me there is no top coat protecting the thin wrap. wish i had known, looks nice other than that, i would highly recommend clear coating over the carbon as mine looks like it will not last long other wiseReception is lousy as expected from such a short antenna but thats life if you want a stubby antenna this short.might be better in cities where stations are close, but here in hawaii , it doesnt pick up much.

2017 Ram 1500 RebelLooks good. Not sure if I somehow was unable to unscrew the old one and screw the new one in properly. But I now receive fewer stations. Maybe in a big city it will work good, but backwoods KY where we only get 8 stations and it goes to two, kind of sucks. But I stay on Spotify so it's mostly for looks. Takes a second to figure out which screw you need but easy non the less.

The description says aluminum, but what they don't say (or show) is that the etching is actually a piece of tape wrapped (poorly) around the housing. The tape also has a very visible line where it is cut off (That's not shown in the picture)None of the adapters provided fit well and I had to use loc-tite in the end to get it to stay.

Product came early and it's nice but I can't figure out how to install it properly , might be just me though (2016 Dodge Ram 1500)

Need instruction with it, even if it pretty simple to install.Not witch piece you need or not.
