Prepac Kurv Floating Desk, White (WEHW-0901-1)

Exactly as described above, this desk is great size for homework, crafts, etc.

Great for my purposes. I game and do CAD work and I was afraid that it would be small or cramped by the photos but its great. Plenty of space for keyboard mouse and wrist rest, as well as lots of shelving space for all your stuff. I wish it wasn't white but the black and fake wood colors always look too fake so I'd rather have it look plain than look fake, and its just fine. I might paint it. The back piece was a little difficult to install without predrilled holes and I couldn't find a drill bit, so if you don't have at minimum an electric drill you won't be able to install it on the wall. But, like, if you don't have a drill yet what are you doing? Either way you'll be happy with this desk.

With the exception of mounting the desk on the wall, the unit took about 20 minutes to assemble. It was fun and easy. The pieces weren’t labeled to match the instructions, but it was a no brainer on where each piece goes. Each piece had pre drilled holes, with the exception of the back plate that had no holes in it, for a good reason.The instructions showed the need for a power drill, a stud finder and a level but neglected to show how to mount the back piece securely to the wall (this is mounted before the desk goes on it). It takes two people, one to hold up the back piece with a level, the other to drill through to each stud. New holes are drilled in the back piece based on where the studs are (this is the reason it came with no holes in the back piece). Getting this piece anchored correctly is critical. The assembled desk sits on the back piece by pre made notches. To insure a solid installation, three more screws were placed on the top panel of the desk. Screw covers are provided.I would highly recommend this for someone that has the time and a bit of mechanical ability. Overall it took 1.5 hours. Looks great, matches our furniture in the breakfast nook, fits a 15.6” laptop plus mouse, calculator and miscellaneous items, easy to clean the floor and offers lots of room underneath since there are no legs.

This is our 2nd purchase of this floating desk, and we couldn’t be happier with them! It’s sturdy, easy to assembled, and takes up a fraction of the space. You can put it at whatever height you’d like on the wall, which allows it to be versatile for taller/shorter chairs. My kids have small bedrooms with little space, and these desks have allowed them have a piece of furniture they otherwise wouldn’t have fit. The little shelves/nooks are able to hold books, decor, etc, it’s large enough to sit their chrome books, and even has the cord slots to keep it less messy. It also doubles as a vanity with the mirror and lights we’ve put on the back after seeing some reviews/suggestions! The design can go with anything and the price was a bargain. Highly recommended!

The Prepac "Kurv" is a brand new model, one-third cheaper than their other model. To install you absolutely need at least 2 studs and drill/screw the board onto the wall using a level.Pros:1) Giving it's size, weight, and weight capacity, this system where the notch on the shelf hangs the unit onto the notch of the board on the wall works well.2) As a nice touch, they include a colored marker and colored screw caps to make sure the finish is maintained.3) Works great for a 21.5-inch iMac. Would also work great for a VESA-mount 27-inch iMac (just barely).4) Extremely well packaged.Downsides:1) Because the edges are rounded and asymmetrical, and the curve of the top-bottom shelves are asymmetrical and opposite, it's awkward to put together and has no solid structure until all pieces are together. Must be careful to avoid breakage during this process.2) The pieces aren't labeled. Not a huge deal, but this would help make things a little easier.3) The side-shelf is tiny, asymmetrical, not adjustable, and not really secure/stable! This is probably the worst design flaw. The shelf pegs should be moved forward (you could drill your own holes) to provide stability.4) Using a mouse on the desk surface feels like the laminate finish might wear off pretty easily.

This desk took me and another person a couple of hours to put together. The assembly and instructions are similar to buying a side table drawer from IKEA, and I have a variety of IKEA products. This is not a walk in the park. Was the product worth the trouble? Yes.I used an inch or two less than the recommended height (I'm 5'5", average body proportions). I chose to do that because I prefer my desk chair on it's lowest setting and did not want to have to raise my elbows to reach the desk. This height works best for me and I am satisfied with the overall sturdiness of the product. The product did come slightly damaged on arrival and the marker it came with did not help at all. Using a black colored pencil worked better for me. It doesn't look flawless but it's no bare looking desk. I've got tons of my things on it and I've lost sight of the minor marks here and there. Overall, it's a pretty and sturdy desk.The one thing I would advise when using this product, is to never let liquids of any kind, sink into the desk. Spillage of any liquid onto your desk has to be removed ASAP. I placed a glass cup of water on my desk on the first day, and the condensation sunk into the desk, causing a bubbling appearance. I placed a heavy hardcover book to flatten the look, which worked but it is still noticeable under certain lighting (looks like a ring of soft bumps). Now I have to be a bit more cautious about my candles, cups, lotions, sprays, and whatnot. This isn't ideal since I have an abundance of liquids that I would like to have on a personal desk. I've never had this issue with any other furniture (including desks) but hey, now I have cute coasters all over.

Pretty easy to install and looks great. Showed up with minor scuffing and scratches even though it was new out of the box though. Otherwise a real space saver

I’m very impressed with this desk. I ordered 3 of them for my kids for Christmas. They are durable and were easy to assemble. My kids love them and they are a good size so they have plenty of space for their chromebooks, desk lamps and other knick knacks.

Easy to assemble, light weight and can be installed by one person.By hanging a desk on the wall, it freed up a lot of office space.I added a couple of extra screws to keep it flatter on the wall.Also cut a couple of slots at the back of the desk top to hide wires.Screwed a power bar under the desk top to hide all the power cables.

Nice sturdy unit! Easy to assemble and put up…

Looks so good in my daughter's room. She loves it and uses it every day. What a great option instead of a huge desk especially if space is limited. Didn't take my husband too long to install just needed to find the proper spot on the wall to secure it. All pieces were included. Great price and great quality too.
