These shocks are not a good quality, I've been using rancho shocks for a long time but these are not what rancho used to be.

I grew up with rancho shocks on all my trucks so I continued the tradition. I accidentally ordered shocks for a 2500 but they installed just fine on my 1500. They are a little stiffer than what I remember however I chalk it up to my mistake. Overall great shocks and actually was a blessing for the heavier rating as I tow a vintage travel trailer during the summer. These shocks definitely help with the weight on the hitch

I installed the first shock and had to collapse it to get it in and the boot mounted. It would only rebound back about half way. I didn't think much about it because the shock was new. I installed the other 3 and they all rebounded to full extension. At that point I was worried but the job was done so I I took my truck for a test drive. Sure enough driver's side front is bouncing...... I am pissed off and want a new shock and reimbursement for my wasted time. And no I am not going to send the bad shock back first as it will put my truck out of commission for 2 weeks. I contacted the seller and they want the bad shock back before sending a new one. What am I supposed to do for two weeks. In essence I got 3 shocks but paid for 4, wasted 2 hours, and in order to make it right will either have to walk for 2 weeks or drive a truck unsafely with no front shock. Terrible.
