Fantastic
Used this with an SWG powervent and it is working great. Controls the fan without any humming or grinding and doesn't overheat. I would totally recommend getting one of these for any fan control need. With the solid state triac it controls things as they should.

Fan controller
This is an inexpensive fan controller that works well, but does not have a good dynamic range. In other words, at the slowest setting, the fan is still turing more than 50% its full speed (my estimate). It is easy to connect. I will probably have to replace it with a better device.

Variable Fan Switch
The variable fan switch controller has caused a large hum in the motor at ALL speeds. With the instructions it states that you may get a hum at low speed, which I understand. The problem may not be the switch but the radon blower purchased from the same manufacturer.

Used for a set of gas logs
This switch worked out great on my set of gas logs. I had a hard time finding one of these but this is a good buy.
