You should measure your head to get the best fit. Amazon’s suggested size was way way off. I love the shape, feel and fit of this hat. I own many sun hats and this by far has the best custom sizing band under the flap using Velcro!!!! And it’s price is amazingly low. !!! Maybe should order every color 🤔!! It’s made primarily of paper products with some polyester rather than traditional toquilla straw which the original Panama hats are handmade from in Ecuador but these are very pricey. It may not be “crushable” for travel but you can place it in your suitcase with items packed around it and fill the inside with items too. It always comes out perfect. No matter what, travel crushable hats never look like a crisp new hat after packing! Definitely a good buy!!

Bought this for a late June visit to Las Vegas and it did not disappoint! First, it's stylish. I was definitely dressing like I was on vacation and this went well with all my Hawaiian shirts. Looked great with a pair two tone brown leather Sperry slides!The hat is a bit heavy if you're not used to it, and I definitely sweat under it if there's no breeze, but it absolutely kept the sun off me. I'm fair skinned and fry pretty quickly but several hours in the Vegas sun and this hat protected me every time. I even got it wet in the pool on accident and immediately set it flat to dry and it didn't even leave a mark. The adjustable headband makes for a perfect fit. Great Hat!

Besides the great style, the UPF50 rating is the deciding factor for this avid golfer who regularly plays in 100°+. Golf baseball style caps are vertically useless plus they easily stain after a few rounds of perspiring. The UPF50 works, zero brim stains from perspiration, and nothing but compliments from my fellow duffers. Highly recommended.

Bought for a trip to New Orleans and it was the hit everywhere I went. It was very comfortable when worn. The adjustable headband made the fit perfect. It was the perfect sunblock for my ears and neck while walking around in July there.

Looks good. Fits ok - the adjustable headband helps a bunch. It, unfortunately rides a bit high on my head due to the way the crown is shaped but it's ok. I mostly like it.

My husband loves his new hat and I love it on him, but it arrived somewhat crushed and we haven’t been able to straighten it out. He’s wearing it anyway because he’s a good sport.

Bought it for my " I will not wear this" husband and, it ended up being the only hat he wore on our vacation! One slight complaint, the interior was a little rough for his bald head, lol

I've updated my review, likely prior to it actually posting. The hats arrived at slightly different sizes, but I had not at first noticed that you can adjust the size inside the hat. My bad. So ... these hats at first glance do seem to be worth the price paid.

My second one as first now 8 years old was getting a bit stained and worn. I wear it most sunny days and the old one will become my gardening hat. So comfortable and easy to adjust to make a perfect fit. Light as a feather and will role up for packing in luggage. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice hat. Thought it was a bit snug at first but I think it is meant to be close fitting. Offers good sun protection, however it doesn't fold up as stated, and if it is meant to it should come with instructions how. As others have said, it will defo crush the hat.

It comes with an adjustable inner band that allows quite a bit of leeway. It worked for me.

I was looking for a nice sun hat and was thinking of going for one of the cheaper options available. My wife convinced me to buy this and am glad to have done so. the cheaper versions usually start fraying and falling apart after a few wears. This feels much more sturdy (in fact has a noticeable weight! - but not uncomfortable) and definitely better quality. Given the great weather we are having currently definitely expecting to utilise maximally!
