SKIL 10" Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw-MS6305-00

First one must have been bounced around in transit the bevel would not stay at 90 degrees, but Skil sent me out a new one and after calibrating, I am getting accurate cuts and the shadow system is fantastic.. Very good saw for the price, excellent customer service!

This is the best saw for the price. It's well-made, solid, and heavy-duty. It cuts well with precision. For the price, it's as good as the top brands. This is it for anyone looking for the biggest bang for the buck with miter saws!

Great cutting tool for bigger and smaller planks not a big fan of only 4inch deep cut but great saw overall

If you are on a budget this is a good light duty saw. Just being a weekend wood worker this met my budget, the saw needed some assembly when arrived but that’s not a deal breaker. I am using the blade shipped with the saw, it works but some people have a preference for a better blade. As cutting goes I did not adjust anything on the saw as shipped from the factory. So far all miter and cross cuts are true and square. Dust collector bag fills quickly, but that means is catching dust. When using a shop vac for dust collection most dust is captured. The blade shadow line is not visible in bright sun light, but still not a deal breaker. Saw will bolt to a portable miter saw stand.

As a DIYer this does everything I'd expect from a miter saw. I'm not sure what miter saws that cost double the price can do that this doesn't. There's a ten inch blade, which is good but far from the maximum size. Otherwise, it's not too heavy to pick up and move around and from front to back is about 40 inches; it would be better if it could take up less space in the back. The build quality is excellent and it comes with a clamp built in. This also comes with a dust bag which does moderately well, but can be attached to a dust collection hose. Finally, the thing that makes it really a great value is the accuracy of its shadow line. Not only does it have a very accurate shadow that seems to be more accurate than a laser, there's a small "v" marking that allows the user to tweak the cut to the center of the shadow line.

Extremely happy with the saw. Consistency and accuracy across the full width cut is excellent. Comparable with more expensive saws.

This miter is so user friendly, the shadow line is super freaking accurate. I have had a lot of enjoyment making projects and I’ve done it with ease! Highly recommend as a budget friendly miter saw for someone who is getting started with woodworking !!

I‘ve wanted to buy a nice power miter saw for many years. I finally decided to do it and researched the various brands and types. I settled on this compound miter saw from Skil Saw after carefully weighing the features and reviews against the competition. I believe I made the best choice. It is a very sturdy piece of equipment with great features. The engineering shows a lot of careful planning. Controls and adjustments are conveniently and safely located. Operation is very intuitive and since I’m a beginner, I really appreciate this. I‘ve used it several times for simple cuts and so far, I couldn’t be more pleased. I feel confident cutting with it by following the instructions carefully. The cuts are precise and accurate. If I had to find a fault, it would be that it is kind of messy. The collection bag doesn‘t seem to collect much of the saw dust while cutting and it ends up all over the machine. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but clean up isn‘t that difficult. The price was super good and I bought it as a package with a nice stand that seems custom made for mounting this saw. I look forward to many years of reliable service from this saw. Skill has earned by trust.
