GREAT DEAL!
Great deal! Although, they could improve the labeling of the packs because those prints are going to fade and disappear completely over time. Those instructions print are important so I covered mine with scotch tape to preserve the print.Another issue: Not sure why my item is not sealed. Minor problem imo, all I care about are the items in it. They are all here so it's fine and it's not like the lid affects expiry.Thank you!

Handy in any environment!
I bought this a year ago. It was way better priced at 60 bucks. Then, it went 99 and I said no.It recently went back down to 76 then 78 then 80.99. I bought it at the 80.99 bc 80 bucks was my budget. This is for unemployment. It's hard to know when you need to eat but in any current economic crisis I can now safely provide for myself. I am trying to be as self sufficient as much as possible. I am plan a and b at home. It's just me and my pets. For the next 25 years I don't have to worry. Now, you will still need to eat and have regular food, but at least this can be adjusted to any environment bc you add water. Now, for myself this last awhile and I do break up the meals into half or thirds . My least fav was 🥦 cheese and rice bc the rice never cooked. It was constantly crunchy and not soft.I did buy another like I said "to have peace of mind" which is hard bc I spent 80 when I could have gotten groceries. For in an uncertain time and future I would rather have peace of mind.It is quite heavy and lid is difficult to open so might want to open in advance, but otherwise can't complain.4 stars bc of the rice and I don't like milk so that went to trash. The empty bucket holds random items!

Stay ready, you won't have to get ready!
One of my first SHTF products. It seems to be a good starting point!

Peace of mind
I am starting to stock up on long term food storage and I'm glad I found Auguson Farm products! Very cost efficient. After reading comments, I did open the pail (opening pail doesn't affect shelf life of products inside) to inspect the pouches for any punctures, but everything was perfect! I also didn't find the pail too hard to open as I've read complaints about that, and I'm a woman haha. If you're questioning getting this, just get it! Better to be prepared than not, especially if you're on a budget.Only concern I have is lack of protein. I plan on getting some of their cans of freeze dried meats. You may also want to throw some ziploc baggies and measuring cups into your bug out bag or into the pails if you don't plan on cooking the meals all at once, as the bag suggests, as you won't want to lug around cooked food if SHTF.
