BOSSRC-5 Loop Station Compact Phrase Recorder Pedal

Bought this for my son and grandson who use it for both keyboard and guitar. They love it!

We have the bigger version of this and love it as well as this compact looper. It's so much fun to play with Boss looping pedals or delays. It never matters that we can't recreate a sound, but we're not pros so for us it's perfect to just tap and record different phrases and layer weird stuff and keep going. Works with anything you can put a guitar cord into!

This is a great pedal. A bit of a learning curve at first but once you get it it’s easy. Make sure to turn the rhythm tracks in each memory slot you’re going to use down to under 50%. They default to 100% which Is extremely loud.

I also have a Boss RC-3.This RC-5 pedal has some really nice upgrades and with the price decrease they are a great buy.

I’ve been using this pedal for a few weeks to suss out ideas for the studio and have found it to be sufficient. I really only use the memory features but there are others too, most of which seem pretty basic or possibly helpful for practicing. I probably would get the RC-1 if I could do it over tbh.

Previous models were good, but this one is the best yet for a feature-rich compact looper pedal.Pair this up with either a Boss FS-7/FS-7 or a midi switch that can handle 4-10 options (like the MIDI Captain from PAINTAUDIO) and this thing is dynamite!

This was a gift for my talented musician who found it easy to use and does exactly what it said. He’s enjoying it!

I have used many many many loopers through the years. We are all looking for something specific for what we are doing so we want different things. I specifically wanted a simple looper that I could hook boss foot switches up to to do stop play and undo. Unfortunately the big boss pedal and some other more expensive ones. Have a delay when you do undo redo. There is no delay with this one which is perfect, undo and redo our immediate.
