I didn't know you could buy after market velcro floor clips for BMWs. So when the velcro wore off on my original ones I bought two side velcro and glued it to the floor and mat; this was a nightmare do not do this. I just ordered these floor clips and they were perfect. Less than a minute to install and worked like a charm. Some people are complaining that the hook is too short. Maybe it varies between BMW models, Im not sure. I had to press down firmly and twist to get them to set, but it wasn't difficult. Like I said less than a minute. Did need tools like some other reviews said. I would definitely buy these again, they have been by far the best solution to my floor mat velcro problem.

It is the same exact oem as the BMW mat hooks. It fits and works perfectly for my BMW Z4 M40i. 1st picture is the replacement aftermarket one, and the second picture is the oem that says BMW on it. that's the only difference. works perfectly.

I bought my BMW used - and it had only ONE carpet holder on each side in the front (and none in the back - still not sure if there are any available for the back). Anyway - I was VERY happy with them - at first - they fit exactly where they were supposed to - but - the first time I washed my car - and tried to take the carpets out - they were pretty tough to remove - which isn't a bad thing. However - the SECOND time I tried to take them out a week or so later to vacuum my floor mats - the velcro separated/unglued from the base (picture supplied), instead of it "tearing" away from the bottom of the carpet like it's supposed to. I think that this *might* be due to the fact that I live in South Florida, it's July, and it's 95+ degrees and 90+% humidity every day, so the heat might be contributing to the item's failure. They were pretty cheap, so, not sure if I will return them, or toss them, but I haven't decided yet...Either way, I'm going to buy genuine BMW ones...hope this helps someone avoid this!

After I securing them I wanted to adjust the floor mats when I lift the floor mate the velcro part came off from the base. Very weak adhesive. How is it gonna hold your floor mats while it can’t hold itself. I Returned them immediately.

My BMW 320i driver side carpet lost one of floor mat fastener. This replacement works well for replacing it.

Worked like a charm. My car wash guys lost one of the hooks for my BMW/Weathertek front mat; and this was great.
