Rollin...In my Five point Oh...
Good representation of the classic Fox Body 1988 Mustang GT. 90% of the pieces fit well. A few things that could of been better with this issue is that the interior was not a traditional “tub”, the under carriage and interior floor are all one piece and the interior door panels are separate pieces that can hinder the fit of the exterior during the final steps. I’m a big taillight fan and this kit only has the molded representation of the louvered style of the 87-93 GT trim level, so if you want stoplight red in the almost microscopic slits, you’ll have to scrape away with a thin, sharp razor down to the white plastic and get the paint into the sections, mine was ok, but the red on red is almost unnoticed. The headlights are chrome so it helps with the natural reflectivity of the real assembly of flush headlamps, the transparent amber looks decent but my headlights look like something out of a entry level snap together kit. What is strange is that this kit came with clear taillights and flush headlight lenses that appears to be from the SVO kit that I remember back in 86. In fact there are several left over parts that are not even shown or mentioned in the manual. There are two different styles of engines intakes, T-Top option, Hood Scoop Option, two separate seat sets, CB, 80’s style cell phone included.Decal set is limited but good, obligatory 5.0 emblems with 1 extra, 3 Ford Ovals, 4 key holes, 4 license plates, hood, roof, trunk stripes, dash instrument panel. They could of included the Mustang logo for the rear quarter back pillar glass. It’s a good model for a moderate builder, granted I’m just getting back to to modeling since stopping in the early 90’s, the smell of paint and glue while listening to 80’s music brings back memories.

To much flashing
I'm a newbie at model building. I've done an RX7 Aoshima and a VW bettle Revell. Both were easy with zero flashing, I think thats the word, excess plastic during extrusion. With this model, there is flashing in plenty of places, to the point it affected fitment, didnt encounter that with Aoshima or Revell. This alone makes me not care to purchase any more AMT brand models. Fitment issues in general were also to be had on this kit. front bumper needed to be filed down to fist well, wheels and tires don't fit well, tires are just a tad big for the wheel assembly. I will say I enjoyed the level of detail on the engine (my RX7 didnt come with 1). The option for a T-Top or full roof was nice, but not enough explanation/detail on where to make the cuts made it a bit of a pain. Also, I did like the numbering sequence in the instructions, tells you in which order to put each piece per build section. Gave it a 3 cause I can't give it a 2 1/2 star.

Just so extra
Be warned. This isn't the best fitting model kit you could get. The whole build has been just....exhausting. I just goto getting the body together to find out the front bumper has the worst fitting ive seen. It's disappointing too because this is my favorite model of mustang.
