A Huge Time Saver for Irrigation
These cam and groove fittings are excellent quality and a real time saver. I use them with a 3-inch pump for irrigation, and since I need to move discharge hoses frequently, they make switching hoses incredibly quick and easy. The convenience and speed are far better than dealing with traditional threaded hose connections. Durable, efficient, and well worth it if you want to simplify your setup.

It seems like a good quality part but the cam lever is too narrow, leaving a lot of play at the hinge point. I think this would be a durability issue for heavy duty use but for my light duty application I don't think it will be a problem. On the other hand, there was a spot of grease on the interface point of each cam and this is something I haven't seen before on new parts. While I appreciate the lube, I would prefer the tolerances be tightened up on the lever connections. The actual fit and seal with the male connection was good.

Convenient where permanent solutions are undesirable -- sturdy, well-made, easy to use
These are a great value compared to anything available locally, and camlocks aren't always on the shelf at your local home improvement store. I used two pair of these -- two female, two male -- to plumb a shallow well pump that is being used on an above-ground tank application. That way, when the pump is not in use or when there's a danger of a freeze, I just pop both of the camlocks off and carry the pump inside until I need it again or until it warms up. It's quick and easy compared to hard-piping the solution. I haven't experienced any leaks or other issues with the installation and am very happy with how it has worked out. The picture is a bit fuzzy, sorry; you can see where I installed a camlock pair at both the inlet and the outlet of the pump. I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy again.

Excellent. Good solid fittings, high quality, fit on my IBC water tanks perfectly. Even came with a spare pair of washers. Recommended.
