A very good product, and holds lots of purified water for a pitcher. The style of the pitcher is nice also. It has a cover over the spout which is very convenient!It's good to use both hands when pouring the fresh water, because it can be a little heavy when it's all the way full.

I've only had a Brita filtering pitcher before, so I'm comparing the Amazon version to that.The design is sleek, and I like the totally clear look. The two struts at the bottom of the handle bother me a little - they look like they could break along the way, but we'll see. While this claims to hold 10 cups, I feel like I'm having to fill it more often than my original 10-cup Brita, which I broke recently. Sad face.My main complaint is that with the Amazon pitcher it is difficult to separate the lid from the filtering compartment for refilling. I drink a LOT of water every day, so I fill the pitcher at least 3 times, and the lid thing is definitely annoying.The main factor in trying another brand was price. I needed a new pitcher right away, and I was trying to stay near $20. (I bought a "like new" version - which was accurate.) I'll keep using it, as it does the job, but I'm probably not in the market for another one of these.

My old Brita was cracked and leaking.I chose this Amazon basics pitcher as a replacement,and so glad I did.At 10 cups it’s larger than my old one, and I only have to refill it once a day.The lid is easy to grasp and remove.It comes with one filter, but also takes my old Brita filters.Filter placement is so easy,just drop into the center hole. ( no difficult crisscross)It also has a meter to alert when replacement is needed.And I found it on sale for under $22.Great choice!

Very useful and money saving item. I don't have to buy bottled water as often. I like room temperature water vs refrigerated water.

The lid on this pitcher is not easily removed before adding water each time. Consequently, my review is not EXCELLENT and instead MEDIOCRE. The pitcher holds the water filter well and is large enough to accommodate a good amount of water. Still, a better lid that is easily removable and replaceable after filling would be a major improvement.

Good pitcher for value. Works just as well as the brita and is compatible with those filters. Very happy with it.
