You can never go wrong with Nat Geo maps.

I had a different National Geographic map of Belize. It was so detailed and showed all the small roads with stuff worth seeing. But not this Natl Geo FL map. The map part itself is too small to show all interesting places. The size of the map takes up about a 1/2 of one side. I'm disappointed, yet its a good general map of FL.

I am demanding of my maps. Maps are all about detail. This map is not as detailed as, say, a gas station map and certainly not a trucker's map. This looks aimed at the tourist crowd. I recently moved from Colorado where NatGeo's maps are pretty darn good (Trail maps, at least). I was sad to see the disparity in quality. Great map for folks visiting. High quality, very readable, waterproof, etc. But for folks who live here I'd recommend you find another.

This product was a major disappointment. The clarity of the map is very good and the "paper" is excellent. Unfortunately the three maps in this series that I bought are very small scale which makes them hard to read and see details. I failed to notice the scale (1:1,584,000) and the small overall size of the map (17.75" x 24.75") when I ordered the maps. I unfortunately assumed that the maps would be about the size of the Trails Illustrated series - these are much smaller. Note that the actual map of Florida on this product only covers about 2/3 the length of the sheet. This is about 1/3 the size of the old standard highway maps that we used to get in gas stations. I would like this product much better if there was a much larger scale map and a lot less froo froo data about points of interest that is easily obtainable from other sources. If you want data about points of interest - buy a guide book. If you want a road map - buy one with with a much larger scale. If you buy one of these, I recommend that you have a magnifying glass handy. I will NOT buy any more maps from this series and I do NOT recommend this product.

This map has too much space taken up with promotional material for numerous Florida attractions leaving too little space for the map itself. If you have never been in Florida you might like it but it is not useful if travelling around Florida.
