Perky-Pet 363 Birds and Berries Lantern Feeder

Just as described and this is my 4th order with Perky-Pet. The feeder is made of a good metal with coating to hold up for years. The top does close tightly and so far, the squirrels haven't been able to get the top off (not for lack of trying) but will hang upside down from the perch which happens with all my feeders.I use a song bird mix and it has brought in a lot of beautiful birds to watch.Well constructed, highly recommend!

I purposely bought a feeder that was not squirrel proof. Wrong. The squirrels cannot figure this out. But I will say it has been way too entertaining. Some of the videos of squirrel efforts should be on YouTube. They simply cannot figure it out. Now - on to the birds. They seem just fine with it. It is attractive and quite functional. And again, VERY entertaining.

Don't waste your money!!! chealpy made plasic sides came broken and the other one i ordered birds hate it so don't bother buying it.. still waiting to return it due to corno 19

Very disappointed.Its a beautiful feeder but so flimsy.A lot of the bird seed will fall out when filling and once we hung it a squirrel just jumped on the hanger and knocked it to the ground eating all the seeds.Its very flimsy and rattles in the slightest wind.Def skip on this one unless you use it for indoor decor or something other than outdoor purpose.

The only problem with this feeder is that THE FEED ONLY LASTS FOR A DAY OR TWO. But that's a too-many bird problem, and not a bird-feeder problem.This has been nice to hang out our window, and see the birds fighting over the seeds. I will say that most birds might land to forcefully on the feeder, and the knocking and skittering on the bird feeder from the birds seems to knock an excess of feed onto the ground (which just means more area for birds to feed on, they'll land on the ground and pick that up!).It's very neat looking, and does what it says!

I love it and most of all the birds love it. A squirrel tried to jump on it from a post and he couldn't grasp on because it swung away and he fell to the ground 5 feet below. I'm happy but the squirrel not so much!

I've owned this feeder for 2 years, and until last week, I've not once seen a bird come to feed from it. Now they are coming to it non-stop, often times filling all 4 perches. Unfortunately unless I rig this feeder up with some sort of catch pan, I will not be able to afford to keep filling this thing every other day. Half of the food ends up on the ground as the birds pick through it.

This bird feeder is preferred by my wild birds. I have placed other feeders beside it. They go to this bird feeder and ignore the other one. I like it too! So I keep buying this one. You do need to be careful that the glass inserts are all the way down so no bird feed leaks out. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall for years they prefer this one.

What quality! This is a brilliant bird-feeder. It's metal with plastic inserts that display a cute bird feature. The metal "string" is superior and it sits very well on my bird feeder/flower stand. It's so easy to clean too. Just empty the remnants of any contents, take out the plastic panels, brush any residue off before cleaning in hot water diluted with a small amount of bleach. Allow to dry, then pop the plastic panels back in place and fill with your favourite bird food. (I actually don't fill it up, I just put enough in the feeder for about two weeks usage as I like to clean it a couple of times a month to reduce the chance of anything nasty being harboured in the container which could make the birdies ill)

These bird feeders are really practical. Easy to clean and the birds love them, even though they have been out there for less than a week.The feeders arrived safely and quickly and we were delighted with them. Would recommend this company.

This holds a massive quantity of bird food. One good tip though, it’s impossible to fill from empty without blocking up the feed holes as all the seed simply falls out of the bottom. I got over this by wrapping wide sellotape/packing tape over the feed holes then removing it when I hung it up outside.

One if the panels is missing! I can't be bothered with the hassle of returning/replacing. I now need to find something to replace it so I can fill the feeder up. It is a real shame as it is beautiful and holds loads of seeds. I have replaced the missing panel with a plastic take-away cover.

Love this for the design and that the pesky squires have difficulty removing the feed they gave up eventually so happy birds
