Step up in size from sub still worked
Was skeptical on these working after reading other reviews. But, still tried going with a passive that was 1 size bigger than the sub to make up the difference of the sub being a long throw. And it, once again, worked perfectly! Kicker quality still pulled through! I've always used the passives from China because they're sold with frames that already have the baskets cut out. That way there's no more mounting depth needed than the thickness of the wood they get screwed into. Was excited to see Kicker is selling them! now. For maybe $20 more it's worth the quality put into them.

Works great for DIY Small speaker enclosures.
Product works great in an Apache 3800 DIY Speaker. I have this paired with two 6x9's and it woke up the low end and allowed more air space for the 6x9's to scream. Only 4 stars for the fact that this is the same price as a complete subwoofer, when all your purchasing is a lightweight disc. Also, would be nice if Kicker would supply a grill for this as well for the price.

Very little excursion
Passive is well built but has very little excursion if you want a better passive look at the earthquake passive radiator

Used for building Bluetooth speakers. Does bring in more bass

Great for me but not for everyone
Used to add extra thump in a small enclosure for a 8” ct sounds 400rms sub. Definitely worth every penny if space is an issue. Keep in mind these are tuned in the 40s so don’t expect them to sound great on the lower notes, that’s what the 10 or 12 PR is for. I listen to all genres so it’s ok for me to sacrifice the lower notes under 35hz. A little pricey but we’ll worth it for the right scenario and setup.

Great for bass
I got a set of these 8” version and they are amazing. They perform well and allows for deep continuous bass. I’m glad I made this a purchase and will definitely recommend these.

Very awesome!!!
The media could not be loaded. Me and my son made a custom box for his car. These absolutely made his 12 sound huge and tuned his box much lower. We love the sound we're getting from it!!! It's been bumping along for a few weeks now and he gets tons of compliments. We got everything to build his box from Amazon very affordably.
