I had a door that always closed when we wanted it open most of the time. I had a sample paint jug keeping it open. This looks so much better. Easy to install with screwdriver and drill. They provide the accessories for multiple types if install. I had a simple baseboard installation. Initially, I thought the magnet was too strong and it would be hard to close the door when needed. My initial impression was wrong. Once installed it is easy to close the door and if the magnet wasn't as strong, the door might not stay open. This is on a door where I have my ironing board hung in an over the door rack and so it is heavier than a plain door.

I have a heavier door that leads into my garage. I needed a door stopper so bringing in groceries wasn’t a hassle with the door. This magnetic door stopper is perfect! Easy to install! I had to use a drill bit other than that it was a piece of cake. Since I have a heavier door I have no problem releasing the magnet. The magnet is also strong enough to keep my door securely opened. It also looks great! Better looking than the silver spring thing.

These worked out perfect for me. They hold open my exterior doors and do not allow them to just swing in the wind. Alignment of the magnet and the catch is crucial for a strong hold, otherwise you will not get the holding power outside. My first one was a bit off center which made it weak, but i improved alignment on the 4 others and they work great. I eventually realigned the first one and now it works fabulously. Hardware included is very helpful but is in metric form which means some conversion for hole drilling. But its a great set. Longevity is still to be seen since I'm using mine outdoors, but for the cost a few years can buy a new set if they are worn.

I bought these for two purposes: to hold open the door and to jeep the door knob from impacting the wall. It solved both problems. We have a robot mopping machine that likes to close doors and get itself trapped in the room. This magnetic door stopper worked very well to keep the door open. The magnet is strong enough to hold the door open even in the strongest of breezes. I really like the look of it and it wasn’t terribly difficult to install. My only gripe with this is how loud it is when the magnet connects to the metal piece on the door. I have solid doors and it is so loud, you don’t want to accidentally open the door too much to engage the magnet for fear it will wake up someone, or the dog, whose barking will wake up someone. I might try reversing the install and placing the long stem on the door and the metal catch on the baseboard to see if that makes it quieter. It’s probably how it was supposed to be installed anyway. The instructions weren’t specific so it can go either way.

Easy installation, quality , looks great

The are the perfect doorstop and wall protector. Easy to install. The middle anchor was the hardest part to figure out but is definitely needed to fully secure the long piece. Magnets are strong, but I have no problem pulling the doors shut. I advise to instll the long piece to the wall or floor first, and use that to find the best placement of the small piece onto the door.

Easy to install. Strong magnets hold doors in place. And they look great!

Love these things. they keep the doors securely against the wall. seemed to be very magnetic but once they are actually on the doors they hold well and disengage pretty easily. installation is fairly easy however it does take some pre planning for doors with limited access behind them. first one took a bit of time but then I got into the groove and finished the other 7 quickly.
