Just what we needed to get rid of the nasty smells in the RV

Easily replaced the existing vents in my bathroom and kitchen. Perfect fit and so far have eliminated the odors that apparently were escaping from the sewer vents. I've searched for the source of the sewer smell in my master bath for years, thinking the drain needed cleaning (it did but didn't help with the smell). I even thought I must have a small leak somewhere under the floor but could never find the source. Then one day I saw a video of a guy that had this problem in his RV and after changing the vents the problem disappeared. As my vents are probably as old as my 20 year old house, I thought why not? After changing all the vents in my house, the smell is gone (so far, knock on wood). Apparently, the springs inside get weak with time and fail to completely seal and allow sewer gas to seep out, so if your vents have a few years age on them, change them out. Not expensive nor hard to do. They simply thread snugly (didn't even need a pliers) into the pipe fitting. At 5 bucks each, this was a no-brainer and a win-win.

These were replacement for the same item that was in our mobile home since 1999. They have been in now for about a month and appear to work well.

These work great and we’re easy to install. We received three in a pack so that was awesome. I found out this was not my issue for the stink I was getting in my RV though. I thought it was these but after I installed these the smell was still there. Come to find out it was in my hot water tank. Bacteria over years gets inside ypur hot water tank and starts letting off an odor, so you have to clean the hot water tank. But at least I know these are new and it helped solve my issue by letting us know it was something else.

Much cheaper than purchasing locally

Once I figured out why there was water under my kitchen sink, I bought these in-line vents as a replacement part. These are a better quality than what the contractor put in when the house was being built. Not only does it work, but the water drains better, no more leak, and no more whistling sound when I'm draining the sink.

This was a perfect replacement for my bathroom vanity drain vent to stop the sewer gases from coming through the 20+ year old 1998 Winnebago Itasca Suncruiser motor home.
