I take my knitting everywhere, so this being metal is AMAZING! No more broken yarn bowls because someone accidentally knocked it off a couch. AND IT'S EVEN MORE GORGEOUS IN PERSON! I will be purchasing in a different color, and recommending to all my yarn friends.

I really like this bowl. It’s very pretty, and does the job of guiding my yarn perfectly. Anyone who sees it compliments it. It’s not very big, but for my smaller projects, such as socks, it’s perfect. I’m very pleased with it, and if I needed another one, wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. It’s sturdy, being made of aluminum, so I don’t have to worry about breaking it. I throw the ball for my dog a lot and it goes everywhere, so not having to worry if the ball hits it is nice.

I've been avoiding buying a yarn bowl for a long time, but I was recently working with some yarn that got so tangled I had to roll it into balls, so I decided it was time. I love all things green, so as soon as I saw this bowl I knew it was the one! The bowl is very sturdy, all of the surfaces are smooth with no spots to snag the yarn, and it's so very beautiful. As a bonus, my husband loves the resonant sound the bowl makes when he bumps into it on the couch!

I am obsessed with this yarn bowl!! As soon as I saw it on Amazon I knew I HAD to have it. I love that it is metal because with a toddler on the house if it gets knocked down it won't shatter like ceramic would. And it does not snag my yarn like wood does. And I just love leaving it where I can see it cause it's gorgeous!!

Finish has started to chip off a little. Grip on the bottom could be better. But my yarn isn't rolling around on the floor.

I had been looking for a really large, sturdy yarn bowl for my bulky yarn knitting. This one fills the bill. I think it can easily hold at least a 10 ounce ball of yarn with room to spare. The aluminum is sturdy without being overly heavy (1lb 3/4 ounces on my scale). There is no way I will ever break this yarn bowl. The design on the bowl is quite ornate and beautiful. My only quibble is that at the edge where the "curly" is cut out of the bowl a point is formed on each side which could catch the yarn or an unsuspecting finger. I will seal these points with caulk. I am really glad I bought this yarn bowl. The Hindi Handcrafts customer service is prompt and efficient- UPS lost my first yarn bowl- once UPS confirmed that it was lost Hindi Handcrafts immediately shipped another one, which thank God, I have received. All in all, highly recommended!

This item is so pretty! I thought it was going to be a little thicker than it is, but I think that's just because the one I already have is thicker. I never looked at the product details. I love the dark green and black! I took off one star because it has the crackly look on the bottom of the inside as pictured, which to me looks like a flaw, but it's not a big deal because obviously my ball of yarn will be covering it. If it was like that on the outside I'd be pretty disappointed. Overall, I love it and I'm excited to use it. I literally got it because it gave off Slytherin vibes and I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd. I'm really looking forward to having a bowl that has the holes to string yarn through, not just the swirl. It also came with a free bag that's super cute! I wasn't aware it would come with one and was surprised and thought I got the wrong package at first! I love it! Thank you!!

Mine was missing the bag that it should have come with. And it took me several washes to get rid of the “blue dust” on the product. Besides that, it has a good weight and won’t move around, and is quite pretty.

Very beautiful, came packaged really nice and bowl feels well made. It is small like a regular kitchen bowl size so you could only use it for smaller yarn balls.

It really is as beautiful as the photos, the colour is amazing! Its a gift and I just know the recipient will love it.
