Managing Your Money (International Edition)

So, I just assumed that since Usborne is an American company that the book would reference dollars. Not so. It refers to British pounds?!?! I bought this book for my son, so explaining that he should ignore the thing that looks like an L and assume it's a dollar sign instead is distracting. Other than that, it's a good book, in that it describes basic financial principles.

The layout of this book is attractive and there are a broad range of money matters covered, including possibly more sensitive subjects like debt, HP and gambling. I think it has been done well. This book gives a great general overview about all kinds of money matters that a person may face as they transition into adult life.

Wow. This was one of the best Teen/YA information books on the market. Highly recommend. Especially good for engaging young people with economics in general.

Purchased for teenage daughter.
