The book is a great starting point.However, you definitely need to buy something else if you want to pass the PMP exam which is really complex.I'd recommend to read this book first and the the Rita Mulcahy's PMO Certification Book

The book is very old and I might have been ok with it if the CD were intact and there weren't vital pages torn out. I guess I got what I paid for. **sad face**

Ich dachte zunächst PMP Certification for Dummies wäre gut, bis ich auf ein anderes Buch gestossen bin, was wiirklich gut war.Genaugenommen ist das Buch nur eine Umformulierung des PMBOK Guides, mit Fokus auf "Inputs, Prozesse und outputs". Hintergründe werden nicht vermittelt, Hinweise aus der Praxis oder sonstiges, was einen projektmanagement-technisch weiterbringt, auch nicht. Vom daher kann man sich das Geld sparen und gleich den PMBOK Guide kaufen.
