Better than I expected!
Ok, I'll chime in since no one else has yet... First, why did I purchase this? Well, my wife and I decided to go and purchase a new van for our kids, as we just had a 3rd child, and a car wasn't big enough anymore. At the dealership, we are looking at 2 vans, one with an entertainment system built-in and one without... Built-in entertainment system was like an extra 1500 bucks. All it was was a flip down, low-quality screen with a dvd player and 32GB of digital storage. Really!? That's what costs 1500? So, I looked into some options... What did I conclude? I could get a device like this, with a decent tablet that has a high-res screen and so on. for like 25% of the price. So, I bought a decent Windows 10 tablet, 11in, for $350 and this device for $30. BOOM, works flawlessly! I can even hotspot my tablet and stream videos from my home Media Plex server with my unlimited, unthrottled T-mobile data plan (or just load up all the videos earlier too). I also have STEAM gaming installed with some kids games and a wireless controller that work great with the tablet. You could NOT do this with the built-in expensive system. And, in the future, I am not stuck with an outdated device as I can always swap in a new tablet years from now. It is also touch-screen, and an HD screen. yay! So, let me rate this device: PROS: - Seems well-built - DOES NOT SHAKE OR JIGGLE!!! This is very rigid! - Easy to install and take off if necessary. - The flexible length made it easy to adjust the size of our van so it sat in the perfect middle - Tiltable up down left and right once tablet is placed. - My tablet once ran out of power and I threw in my wife's 8in tablet as I didn't yet have tablet car charger, no issue CONS: - Gotta keep maybe a little baggie in the glove box to hold the tablet size adjusters. (So easy to change I can't take a star away) Final Word: So, I enjoyed it. It seems like a high-quality product and does not feel cheap. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a great travel companion, but can also be great for even a 45 min commute. Just word of caution, my work gives me a higher-end tablet (Dell Venue Pro 11), and it requires 19.5v output charging, which you just can't get from a car microUSB charger, so I purchased a different one not so power hungry that permanently sits there now. Just make sure you get a tablet that you can be used whilst plugged into a car charger without draining for long road-trips.

Holds my device perfectly!
This was a 'had to see it to believe it' purchase.. I read about it and it seemed to have exactly what I was needing and claimed to be sturdy and reliable. I took a chance and it paid off. It was very easy to install. I simply attached the extendable post to the bars of my headrest, pulled it out the length I wanted and clamped it down. It is very study, stable, no bouncing around and the phone/tablet stays put. Now, I am able to play my phone or tablet for my twin Grandsons while we travel. They're thrilled because they get to watch Paw Patrol and I'm thrilled because it was much cheaper than the dual DVD players I was going to buy! Very glad I found it! Well worth the money!

Very nice holder with lots of flexibility for your cars configuration.
Very pleased with this. Works great in the car. Holds the iPhone 7+ easily and easily. Easily adjustable to tilt or pan you device for different viewing angles. Also extends so you can have your device centered between the seats if you desire. Feels kind of flimsy and fragile, but I have two younger kids getting in and out of the car bumping this holder all the time, and it holds strong and has not broken yet, so maybe looks are deceiving. :)

Perfect tablet holder for our Toyota Sienna and Samsung Galaxy Tab E
For the price, this worked nicely to hold a 9" Samsung Gaxaxy Tab E in our Toyota Sienna during roadtrips. The tablet is not locked into place, but it is held firmly. I can imaging that the tablet may come off if I hit a huge bump in the road (everything in the car may go flying if I hit a huge bump in the road), but we drove thousands of miles with no problems of the tablet coming off. Although we have a DVD player in the car, I liked the idea of downloading selected movies (through Amazon Prime Videos) and selected educational videos from Youtube instead of the kids just watching "mindless" DVDs. It worked out great for us. I could recommend this holder if you have a car similar to our Toyota Sienna and have a tablet up to 9".

It's Just OK
It works just fine as advertised and I like the holder on the end of this one better than the last one we had since it adjusts for different sized tablets without having to change the 'feet', but the problem is that the arm itself is a little thinner than some of the other types of holder like this, so it bounces the heavier iPad 2 that we have quite a bit. It would probably work better if you used smaller devices on it than a larger one.

Actually work really good.
These seemed a bit flimsy when I opened them (I ordered 1 each for our 2 cars), but they are stronger than they look and hold out 10 inch kids tablet perfectly. The extension and features are just right. The only complaint I have is that the pinchers that connect to the headrest don't open quite enough. They worked fine on one of the two cars, but the other had slightly thicker posts on the headrest, and I had to tap it on with a rubber mallet and not sure ill be able to remove it without breaking it. The price is right, the cheaper ones I could find on Amazon when I looked

I'm going to be harsh...
I'm seriously surprised at all the great reviews on this item. Great concept, terrible production. Pieces feel so cheap that they will surely break....that is if I ever get to use it. It does not- I repeat- it does NOT securely hold my iPad Pro or my iPhone 7 in place. Each has a protective case and it just flat out doesn't work!!! If I have been lucky enough to get 1 to stay long enough to drive my car it unfortunately will fall at the slightest movement such as my kids sneezing air across the car at it. I bought this based on everybody's great review that it works with protective cases etc. I will have to fashion my own clamp system to get my money's worth out if it because it's not worth the return shippingn to get a refund.
