They all nibble this everyday. It does make them look pink around the beak and pink where they groom each other though.

My daughter's birds will have this gone in less than an hour and be covered in red powder. They recognized the packaging this time. They do take a bit to get here but it's worth it to see them get so excited. Definitely will continue to buy and maybe next time I can get a video before they get it gone.

My budgie loved this mineral block so much that she destroyed it in the span of 3 days!She was pink faced and happy and the only qualm I would have is that it is a bit too chalky and easy to break which leads to dust.BEWARE: The pink dust gets EVERYWHERE!!It was a disaster to clean her cage and some of the pink stains a bit on wood. Be careful of it staining fabrics as well.I will definitely make another purchase seeing as how it gave her something to gnaw on and it made her healthier in the process!(Her feathers are more vibrant)

Ok I have a very picky parakeet and she liked this block, but a warning the color will stain their feathers it's been over a month and her head is still red.

My conure would chew on it daily so it must be tasty. The only downside is the coloration, the cage is now stained with pinkish-reddish areas where the powder form of it fell. She loved it and when it was almost gone i took it out of the cage. Might repurchase if they made a less colored one or plain white one

My pionus joined the family from an old friend who had to move away and couldn't take her. She had a pink block in her cage that she absolutely loved. I tried other mineral blocks and she would not touch them. The pink block was almost gone and I was frantic to find out what this mineral block was. My friend couldn't remember what she bought and so I was lost. One day I happened to see this apple block on Amazon and it hit me that my search was over!She loves this mineral block more than any other. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't get it anymore. I'm stocking up!

This smells strange straight out of the package, not like apple or anything. Just weird. Similar to wet sand maybe? It was unpleasant to me. My bird didn't really enjoy it either but he did rub his face and head on it a couple times while moulting and got a great red stain on his white plumage from this product. If you want an inexpensive way to dye your bird, I guess this is an option. Even wiping it down with water continues to stain red... how much dye is in this...? I threw it away after a while since it went untouched and wasted. Never buying again. Will stick to plain cuddle bone and lightly steamed broccoli for calcium. I was really hoping to find a little treat to keep things interesting for my bird. What a disappointment.

This seems to be a fine product, but it stained my fingers all red when I took it out of the package. It might make your birds beak all red.
