Cooks SO fast 🤤
Best purchase ever! It being gas powered makes it easy to heat up in 20min and toss in a pizza for 1-2min for a delicious dinner. It really does cook that fast because it gets SO hot, you just need to consistently turn the pizza to get the nice even cook. Once it’s cooled you can take the stone plate out and clean it if you need. We got the bigger size to make a 16in pizza and it fits amazing 🍕

Best pizza oven
Best thing we ever bought! We use for our wings, steak, and anything we want a nice crisp for. My husband loved his birthday gift.

We love our Ooni pizza oven
Since buying our Ooni pizza oven, I've been making pizzas every weekend. I'm glad I read through the reviews and watched a few videos before purchasing. I originally was going to buy the smaller, 12" Ooni but went with the 16" and so glad I did as it allows me to make larger pizzas and other items. It's easy to assemble. Actually, I took it out of the box, unfolded the legs, put in the pizza stone and it was about ready to go in a few minutes. Watch some Ooni videos or go to their social media groups, tons of people willing to help and answer questions. My process is pretty simple, I fire up the oven about 30 minutes before I'm ready to start building my first pizza. I use an temp gun to check the temp of the stone. In the back right hand corner, I let it get to about 850-900 degrees. The center of the stone is around 750 degrees when the back corner is 900. Just before "launching" my pizza, I turn the flame down to low and then launch the pizza. After 30 seconds, I slide the metal pizza peel in, pull the pizza out and (while wearing gloves) then spin the pizza about 1/3. Slide the pizza back in, wait another 30 seconds and repeat the spin process. A do that a 3rd time and then pull the pizza. The dough is well cooked, the bottom a nice light/medium brown and the toppings are sizzling hot. Once the pizza is removed, I turn the heat back to full, go inside, put the 1st pizza in the oven set at 250 degrees to keep it warm, then build the second pizza. Once I'm done building the second pie (about 5 minutes), the stone is back up to temp and I repeat the same process. I can knock out 2 pizzas for the family in about 15 minutes from starting to build the first pie. I've been making my own dough using our kitchenaid mixer and will never buy packaged pizza dough again. For those reviews complaining that they can't get it right, a few videos and asking some questions in the Ooni forums or groups, makes it pretty easy. My family and friends rave about my pizzas and it's become a weekly thing in our house. They do go on sale from time to time so if you're in no rush, you can wait for a sale to save some money

Best pizza oven on the market
Bought for Christmas a Christmas my parents!. They LOVE it!! They used it for their Christmas with family on FL and had a fantastic time making pizzas with the grand kids. They've tried a couple different models in the past and sold them because they were inconsistent with heat/cooking and thought they were too small for large gatherings. They said they'll keep this one! They said it's the best outdoor pizza oven ever. Will take it on the road this summer in their RV to share with others. Highly recommend!

Worth it !!
Oven is well worth the money as a birthday gift for our son. The larger size, heat speed and distribution is perfect for all the pizza's he makes for family, friends and portable for him to take to his job for special occasions.

Does what is was made to do.
I was more than a little pleasantly surprised at how good this little machine was capable of producing excellent quality pizzas. The learning curve can be pretty quick to learn and reduce the number of burnt pizza crust that you may encounter when first starting. One of the secrets is that you need to get the pizza stone up to about 922°F. Once you’ve done this, and your pizza is ready to slide into the oven for baking. You need to turn the heat down to the lower setting which will give you a little bit more time to spin the pizza around, cook the Crust thoroughly and pull out the pizza within 60 seconds to two minutes. It is capable of making pizzas that are significantly better than pizzas made in your home oven. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased another 16 inch Oven for my daughter. You’re going to need a good Pizza peel, digital thermometer, and perhaps even the little implement that assists you in rotating your pizza deep in the oven. Enjoy your time with this machine.

Failure to reach 900℉. Critical ERROR in instructions; terrible customer support
The sweet talking ooni customer support is terrible_my motivation for rating of 1. In spite of our going the extra mile in purchasing THEIR surface thermometer customer support ignored our readings of the surface of 315℉. Ooni support ignored our claim of oven not reaching 900℉ by using their thermometer. They asked for pictures of the flames inside the unit which I sent to them _ resulting in no response. They turned around the problem (ignoring the oven performance claim) and accused us of miss-using the celsius button, the Fahrenheit button on their thermometer. There were multiple message exchanges which wasted my time. There are 3 buttons on their thermometer C, F, and m. The value of m (emissivity is preset at the factory according to their user guide). Ooni support wanted me to create a video showing the value read on their thermometer and the button to select C or F. Both my wife and I are highly educated; I study theoretical physics. Alright, what is the critical error in their user guide: they instruct the user to connect the female end of the line from the propane tank to the male end of oven's regulator BY HAND. Doing this will create a massive leak of gas that prevents the gas from reaching the inside of the oven. Anyone who worked with threaded male and female brass fittings know they MUST use yellow plumbing tape around the male end before hand screwing on the female connector to prevent leaks. Did they tell me this? No they just wanted me to prove the correct button was being pressed via requested videos_which I ignored. Subsequently, I remembered how to join threaded gas fittings and used yellow tape appropriately. Once I did this the unit headed properly sufficiently to cook our first pizza.
