NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUPHD Blush, Double Dare

I just received my NYX Professional Makeup HD Blush, in Hamptons, and I tried it on right away. Suddenly I have a new favorite blush! The color looks very natural with my light complexion, and it is well-pigmented so I don't have to use a lot for the color to show. It's too soon to say exactly how long-lasting the blush is, but I've had it on for a few hours now and it still looks fresh. My skin is dry/normal, so that makes a difference, too. It may not last as long for someone with oily skin. All in all, I would recommend this product!

I struggle to find a good contour color with my pinkish skin. Everyone wants to go bronze. This works for me. I love this taupe brown color and it is my go to since taupe in the sweet cheeks line was discontinued. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I wanted to love this blush, as I love NYX products and think they are very good for the affordability of them. This blush seemed splotchey and was not the color I was expecting. I thought it would give a more "sunburned/tanned" look as I have gotten with other red blushes, but this was more of a clown look in comparison. I am medium complexion with warm undertones so maybe on another skin tone it would be more flattering.

I really like the HD blush formula especially compared to the now discontinued regular blush. This is a soft, finely milled, pigmented powder. Set your cheek area with setting powder before applying this blush as it cling to any wet or tacky foundation patches. When applied with a fluffy brush and gently built up, you get great results and the key is to be patient and apply a little at a time. I recommend the original Real Techniques blush brush (pink aluminum handle). I find that this wears nicely all day with or without a setting spray on top.I have two shades from this line and may purchase more.Taupe is the perfect contour shade for light to medium tones. Pastel chic is an amazingly light cool, baby pink. This is for the fairest of fair skin tones and gives a very nice light flush that doesn't look like blush but a natural color. The formula is pigmented and would likely appear as a baby pink on darker tones but could look too cool and ashy so I wouldn't recommend this for anything other than super pale girls and editorial looks.

I rated this 3 stars, the product is gorgeous, but I’m going to need some time getting used to such a superior makeup!The color is really pretty and it blends down very softly, something i’m not used to…. So far so good!I suspect in 2 months it will be 5 stars!

I was looking for a hot fuchsia pink blush for a costume party. I looked at others on here and I'm really glad I went with this one. IT IS BRIGHT!!! I'm sure you could use less product and have it be more acceptable for daywear (maybe!). This wasn't what I was doing - I need HOT PINK and VERY VISIBLE. It worked great for that and was exactly what I was looking for. Also held up really well! I was super pleased with the product and would buy again.

I cannot recommend this enough. It is bright, same color as photo, it isn’t too sheer, it’s just enough to blend in easily, but still bright enough that you can see the blush and the pretty pink color. It is buildable and easy to blend. This is my new favorite. I was using the Milani but I’m hooked. It is small, but it won’t take much, so hoping it will last a while. Walmart was completely sold out of this color.
