DSSKilts Scottish 8 Yard Black Watch Tartan Kilt for Men with Matching Sock Flashes and Thistle Kilt pin

Got this kilt for a ren faire costume for my husband. It looks great and seems like pretty good quality, this was our first kilt purchase. The pin that comes with it was terrible, bent and broke the first time putting it on, but I'm not deducting a star for that because we purchased for the kilt not the pin. We measured his waist before ordering, and he did have a little extra room at the waist so it was bigger than expected, but with a belt it was fine. When we walked in to the ren faire an older woman who worked there stopped us and took him aside and pointed out that the kilt had a thread sewn loosely on the bottom of the pleat that needed to taken out to let the pleats flare and flow. She got a pair of scissors and helped cut it, it was so nice of her! So, if you are new to wearing a kilt, be aware of that thread that needs to come out!

Pakistanis make passable highland gear. Kilts, bagpipes, and the like. If you don't want to spend $150 on a kilt til you know you'll love it get this kilt. Pleats are wide and have a decent swing ($375 will make you look a Laird o' the Lochs). Doesn't hang to long for a mid-sized lad (5'10"). All in all a fine usable kilt for day wear or a quick pint.

Typically with kilts off of Amazon the material seems cheap and the coverage is lacking. I now own 4 DSS kilts and love each one of them. The material seems to be worth more then what you will pay and the coverage is perfect. This compares nicely with my more experience kilts, however not as thick but still excellent quality.

For not being an authentic kilt it was better than expected. My grandson absolutely loved it. He has always wanted one. The price was spot on as well.

The size fits perfectly. I measured around the belly button as directed. The material seems to be a fairly high quality and the little sword adds some personality. I expect to wear this once a year for a golfing event. It should work very well.

I just received my kilt! It looks and fits great. Soft fabric and very comfortable. My only issue is that I didn’t receive my flashes or the kilt pin, which is rather a problem since this is what I was supposed to get based on the product description. Otherwise, I’m pleased so far.

Would have loved to keep this but it's just too big even after measuring and rounding down. Its a very nice fabric and a good weight without being too heavy. Will probably order again after losing some weight but a much smaller size.

If you just want a casual, let your bollacks dry after a shower or maybe drive your bird to the liquor store and stay in the car kilt this is what you want. As long as you aren't a super chubby bastard fit is loose, have to go all the way down on the buckles so order down a size.
