Spectre Performance 7498 Chrome Stainless Steel Sleeving Kit

Decent quality. Fairly easy to install. Not long enough for the upper radiator hose on the 5.7 hemi.

Got this kit for my 2011 Silverado. Looks great, and easy to put on after some practice. Was bummed to find out the large radiator hose piece doesn't cover the entire hose, but with a piece left over from another set I had, I was able to piece it together in a spot hidden by the intake. Not ideal, but it works. If it was longer, I'd give it 5 stars.

While the sleeve itself is nice, the kit is a disappointment. There is only one clamp per sleeve size, I guess the other end doesn't need terminated into anything. Next, while there are two sizes of radiator hose sleeve for the two sizes of hose, the larger hose clamp will barely fit over the smaller hose. The actual screw clamp part of the clamp is poor quality as I could not get it tight enough to not leak, and I was clamped direct to the hose, not over the sleeve. Wound up buying a regular screw clamp from the auto parts store. The instructions are minimal and the website is confusing. This is another example of a good idea poorly executed.

Takes some time to thread hoses through but make you engine look good.

Descent product but didny fit hoses with end caps. Had to remove half of the ends which exposed bracket...but still looks nice. Reasonable quality.

two of the stainless sleeving units came twisted & kinked out of the package, could not get them to slip over hose uniformly and look good, finally Dis guarded sleeving and just used chrome ends, had to replace hose clamps on 3/4 & 5/8 ends because cheap thin clamps would not seal, had to modify ends so better clamps could be used, also have bubbles under the chrome, don't know how long they are going to last. Would not buy again.

They were okay, once you do a few you can make them look pretty good. I actually took the first one back off (because I want to paint the hose) and was able to make it look a lot better.

This is a nice kit for dressing up the engine bay. Can be time consuming to install, but worth it.

Some complain about cutting it, I used a this cutting blade on a angle grinder and it worked well, only a few strands to snip off. Looks great when I had it under the crimping connectors and crimped it under so the ends don't show.
