I only received 23 washcloths. I counted as I was putting them in the washer, and again as I was putting them in the dryer :(

First impression was that these were the most pitiful and saddest looking wash cloths I had ever seen! They were scratchy feeling and so thin you could honestly see through them. I decided for 67 cents a piece I would just keep and use for cleaning rags. After washing and drying the wash cloths, they totally took on a new appearance! They were soft and thick and very little shrinkage. Before washing, be sure to clip (not pull) all of the loose threads....you'll be sorry if you don't, as you will have a knotted mess when washed! I would recommend first washing them with no other towels as there will be a LOT of lint. I rated 4 stars as 1 cloth ended up with a hole after washing, and 2 frayed really bad. But all considered, this is an excellent buy, and I will use for washing my face instead of cleaning!

The towels are poorly made and very stiff and hard. I would not purchase these again.

You get what you pay for. I bought these as kitchen towels as a substitute of paper towels. The do the job as far as being very absorbent and easy the get clean. However, it did not take more than a couple times of washing for them to start pilling and hair to get tangled in lose threads. The only reason I would buy these again is for garage/shop use.

These are terrific. The stated measurement was 12x12, and I was concerned that they would be too big for shower use, but they shrunk nicely upon washing (warm wash, medium heat dry.) They lost an inch or two and are perfect. They suds nicely with bar soap, and are easy to wring out. I’ve only had them for a few weeks, so I can’t speak to longevity, but for the number of washcloths you receive and the price point, they are already a great value. I would recommend to others and would buy them again.

I purchased these to use in the guest bathroom so that there could be a lot of towels available at all times without having to use the same one over and over. The idea is that they are used once and then washed. Overall, they have worked quite well, but a couple of them began to ravel after only a few washings. Even with that, I would buy again.

have multiple sets of these. They are perfect for what I use them, and very soft, for BUT IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BUY THESE BE ADVISED:- They are NOT all the same size (see picture). I have 4 sets and a good amount of thm are cut shorter than others.- They WILL shrink quite a bit in dryer! I learned this with first set I bought so now they all get hung up to dry (the picture includes only air dried towels, not the ones that were shrunk in dryer)- just as an FYI...While some colored items can be bleached without the color changing, these WILL be affected by bleach. The light tan (almost a vanilla color) did turn an off white when accidentally bleachedOverall though i love them.

These products have some woeful reviews, but overall I found them to be of decent quality for the price. I purchased some VERY expensive towels from parachute, but I wanted a handful of washcloths to use as handtowels in a basket on the counter to accompany them (and I could not justify buying the top tier ones). These matched fairly well, and are much thicker than the Costco ones.

The only thing I do not like about these is the color. They are beige, but a yellow beige. Look like the ones we carry in the hospital. Although they are soft and fluff up once washed.
