Nostalgic Warehouse Meadows Light Switch Cover Plate

This is Old World craftsmanship. It is difficult to find items like this in today's world of sickening plastics. This is a solid brass part unlike any I have seen in modern hardware unless you look in an antique hardware dealer catalog. Even then this surpasses most in detail. On typical brass items I have purchased for historic purposes, most have numerous flaws in the file detail of the cuts, lines, and casting. This item has none of that. I give this an A plus. Even the polish quality looks great. I'm proud to have this in our 1890s Victorian!

I bought the doorknob first and wanted the switch plate because the doorknob is so beautiful, solid, and feels like products the way they used to be made before everything went cheap and made in china. I love them both, but the switch plate came with some gunk on it and I can't get it off. I think it's whatever substance they used to antique it. See photos. I flipped it the other way so the gunk is at the bottom and isn't as noticable. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the gunk.

I bought 4 more after recieving the first. Definitely solid and attractive. It really adds character to my older home. I also liked that they come with two sizes of screws so I did not have any issues installing.

I was looking for something different for my dining room wall, this fit the bill completely. I have antique wall paper and I didn't want your run of the mill switch plate. This arrived in perfect condition and looks beautiful on my wall. It has a lot of weight to it, In this case, you get what you pay for. It may be a little more expensive than some you can purchase, but it shows in high quality design.

I'm very persnickety about things, I want them to look good AND be well made, this product is awesome! I bought two for plugs and two for light switches and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, sturdy and well-made product. The detail and colors are right on. May put them all over the house!!

Wow! These were made so nicely! We have a Victorian home and I was looking for antique brass light switch plates for the longest time, and couldn't find anything I liked, or that was made well. These are exceptional!! Heavy duty, nice intricate design. Very pleased with them! I will be ordering more!

very nice thick plates. was surprised by the weight an quality of these plates. only thing I didnt like was the light scratches on both the plates. I bought 2. I will still keep them. there very pretty. wished there wasn't scratches on them though.

ordered the single toggle switch plate cover like shown and got the wide center rocker type cover - won't do me any good on my switch unless I now wire in a rocker switch which I don't care for or take two hours off work and try to return it. Sure was looking forward to the switch type I ordered to install in the remodeled kitchen.
