Very Simple Heat
This is a great unit for heating a less formal space. I installed this in our 24’x28’ insulated garage (with 10’ ceilings). It only required tapping in to the existing return line of our outdoor wood burner (about 165 degree water), and this was already located right under our small stoop. For the electric, I just bought a line volt thermostat and wired it solely to the fan on the back of the unit. Really easy way to create a separate zone that anyone can understand the controls for. (It lets the temperature swing about 3 degrees as you can see on the little digital thermometer we have set up on top of the thermostat).Overall great purchase, and I would do it again for sure. The fan sounds like a box fan on high, so it would hinder watching a movie in the same space, but otherwise not a big deal. The only other negative is maybe that it doesn’t come with its own mounting hardware. I used 3/8” thread-all with nuts and washers which worked just fine.Buy this thing; we love the heat it makes.‘Mike

Perfect Basement Heater
I bought this heater for my basement workshop. 400 square feet, concrete floor and block walls. I have a 40 gallon water heater boiler system setup, that maintains a 140 degree temp. With Milwaukee weather at 20 degrees outside, it took my basement temp of 55 degrees to 65 degrees in just a few hours. Floors and walls were probably stabilized at 55 prior to starting heater.Fan noise?...not an issue for me. Would not call it quiet, but rather expected from a fan that claims to push 500 plus cfm. Would compare it to the fan in your car at full blast...you can hear it, but eventually tune it out because you know it is blasting heat.It has been below zero here for the last couple days, and heater is able to maintain 65 degrees. Cycles a bit, but I would expect this. Pleased with its performance. It is listed to have "one inch copper feed"...which was not specific as to whether it was threaded...it is not. So you will have to solder this heater into your system.I will say, and you can look at the picture I attached, there is zero vibration on the upstairs floor, when you mount it to your floor joists...if using in the basement. I was concerned about this, but very pleased with its operation. In fact, the fan is tight, and metal enclosure is solid...so no rattling or minor metal vibration at all.As for the 50,000 BTU rating...no clue as to how to determine what I am getting. I am only pushing 140 degree water through it. The online BTU calculators told me I only needed a heater half this size...decided not to take a chance and go bigger. Very happy with my purchase. Been running flawlessly for four days.Last item...I did not buy a 110 volt thermostat. I used my old 24v relay, to feed 110 volts to the fan. A lot more options in thermostats when you go this route. If you don't know what I mean, it is probably best you stick with the recommended 110 volt thermostat.I know this is a long review, but it is what I wanted to read before purchasing this heater. So I wanted to share my experiences and observations. I recommend this heater to anyone looking for an industrial like heater.

Good for the money
Works good in a 25x30 garage use to with a 120v thermostat to turn fan on and off water circulates all the time it’s a little loud when the fan runs but not bad. louvers are adjustable to push air in the direction you want

Great heater, works awesome for my basement
The media could not be loaded. Video goes into depth. Noise isn't as bad as I expected. There is a wiring diagram inside the motor, very simple to follow. Overall you do need some knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and electrical to install this. Definitely not for beginners. If you go the route I did you really need to know electrical. Otherwise just get yourself a line thermostat. Super satisfied with this unit's performance.

Decent for the price.
First I’d say this is a decent unit. I have two complaints but still not a deal breaker. The box for wiring is tiny. I changed it to a metal 4 x 4 electrical box since I had to add a relay for 24 V to open my zone valve. I would also have like a little more pipe exposed for the inlet and outlet to be able to bottom out fittings for connections. Otherwise it works fine and was straightforward to install and wire. I saw complaints about difficult to wire. The wiring diagram was very straight forward.

Geothermal Heater for Greenhouse
I built a geothermal heater for my greenhouse. For the prototype I used an Aluminum car radiator and a box fan all hooked up to an Ink Bird temperature controller. The radiator and box fan worked great keeping the greenhouse above 38 degrees at outside temperatures as low as 28 degrees. To clean up the installation, I purchased this unit thinking I would have a higher efficiency heat exchanger and better fan. Unfortunately it didn’t work out for me. I had to go back to my radiator and box fan for the Winter.I am sure this is a great unit for a hot water heater system, but the heat transferred when the ambient temperature is close to the water temperature is not very good.

Great heater for a small shop
We had infloor heat in the adjoining building so going with hot water heat in the shop was a great choice. I'm working with solvents and dust, neither which mix well with a gas fired heater. This is safe, does a nice job of keeping the temps up. Live in mid Wisconsin, throws enough heat for a 12 x 24 insulated room that you don't need to run it constantly. Paired it with a thermostat plug for easy use.
