Works great in very low temperatures
This bad boy works well in extreme temperatures. Just plug it in a couple hours before you start your machine, and it's ready to roll. Do Not Leave Plugged In For An Extended Time. Only plug it in a couple hours prior to using the machine. CAUTION: GETS VERY HOT. WILL CAUSE BURNS

It gets HOT really fast, but as I just opened today, I have not used it yet.

not happy with product
Did attempt to read instructions for operating and installing the heater, problem was a large sticker was placed on where the instructions was. I did attempt to remove the label however most of the print was destroyed, except for some. Part of what I was able to read states it was important the engine be warm before using the heated dip stick, what!! If the engine is warm what is the purpose of using the oil heater? Have not used this Kats product yet, I am not optimistic.

Not a buy!
Burn out immediately! My fault? Poorly engineered?

Doesn't work with curved dipstick guides
The tube of the heater is thin enough to pass through virtually any straight dipstick guide but is too rigid to pass through a guide with any significant curvature (like my Saturn).

, will not fit Ford Flex engines as advertise
Requires 5” depth in oil , has little flex and will not conform to bent dipstick tubes that have blade type dipsticks.

Did not fit either engine that I have , Ford V6 and V8. Not very flexible as advertised.
Did not fit . Not very flexible. Tip sharp and not rounded, catches on edges. Tried in 2006 Ford V8 and 2013 Ford V6.
