Humco Compounding Cherry Syrup Vehicle 16 oz!

I will start by saying I’ve tried everything imaginable to help. This seems expensive, but it works and you’ll see from my info below that it’s not expensive at all as it requires very littleThe liquid meds I have to take every two hours is supposed to be berry or cherry flavored but what it is, is disgusting. Taking it alone not only makes me nearly gag, it gives me what feels like heartburn. I use a tiny bit of this syrup and now it tastes like I’ve sucked on a piece of cherry hard candy. It’s soo good.It doesn’t take much at all. My meds is just 0.2ml per dose (tiny amount) so I mix equal parts of meds and flavoring and it makes it taste good. At that amount this bottle lasts for 2,365 doses. Since I take my meds every 2 hours, I could expect it to last for about 6 months.HOWEVER, I love the taste soo much and have a sweet tooth. I have no children in my home and am an adult who doesn’t have to worry about associating meds with candy, so I treat myself and add 0.2ml to each dose so taking my meds isn’t dreadded anymore.It says to use to taste so you can add as little or as much as you’d like. It’s not overly powerful, but flavorful enough that you don’t need much. For example, the 0.2ml that is enough to fix a rancid tasting med completely is only 0.0067628 of an ounce. Which is about 4-6 drops hahaI did have a tablet I needed to crush to take, and it gave you that back jawbone twinge that caused your eyes to water then the horrible aftertaste that caused that shiver that also felt like you’re going to vomit.So, I tried adding 4 drops of this syrup to the very finely crushed pill and mixed wel,l then pulled it into a syringe to take. It was like candy with no bad aftertaste at all.It is sticky if you get it on your hands, and be sure to wash off anything you use to dispense like a syringe .

I use this for my son that is on the autism spectrum. He cannot swallow pills so we crush them and mix it with this syrup. It tastes good and my son is very picky but will take any meds with this. Such a lifesaver!
