Have a Question? See What Others Asked

I have a bunk bed that has at least a dozen wooden slats but no boxspring or plywood piece. Would it work for me?
Will this work on a mattress which i placed directly on the floor without box spring?
Has anyone actually used this on a king sized bed and can confirm it works without issue and is secure?
Does the rail swing down to be flat against the base of the bed? The photo makes it appear as though it swings down, but may rest at an angle. Thanks!

Great Product at a Great Price!

Previously, we had a "Cars"-themed bedrail for our son. When our daughter went to a toddler bed, we used that bedrail for a bit. But she is quite girlie and it didn't seem right to keep using the Cars bedrail for the sake of convenience and frugality. LOL! When we transitioned her to her "big girl" bed, I got the Regalo bedrail. Now, I usually leave assembly to my husband, but this was so easy and quick to assemble that I did it while he had a cat nap. I also found it easy to get it onto her bed by myself. I think it may be tricky for some who are unfamiliar with the straps of a bedrail and how to position them to set this up on a bed solo. I'm just familiar because our son's Car bedrail was not the swing-down type (Or maybe it was and I never got the memo? LOL!), so we often took it off and put it on. FYI, I am not a big gal--only 5'3"--but even with my [lack of] height and arm span I can maneuver a bedrail under a mattress and strap it down. I've learned to wedge myself into strategic positions to handle this task. (My daughter's bed has a comforter and dust ruffle, and I am OCD about beds being presentable, and still I can maneuver this thing into position.)Back to the Regalo bedrail. I love the swing-down feature. Not only does it make changing bed linens more convenient (than bedrails you need to remove first), but it is also nice to have the rail down so the bed looks neater when not in use for sleeping. The bedrail is also holding up to the constant rolling and bashing of my daughter, who is not a gentle, motionless sleeper. She has also rammed herself into it, climbed on/over it, and kicked it when awake and it stays in place. (And she is big for her toddler age, so she can pack a wallop.) Initially, we had only the bedrail along the open side of her bed, with an extra standard-sized pillow blocking the small gap near her head/headboard. Eventually, though, I positioned a long body pillow from her headboard and long the bedrail to cushion her, as she is old enough that we don't have a fear of SIDS or suffocation from pillows placed such. There is enough of a gap at the foot of the bed for her to access her little step stool to get down, even when the bedrail is up.I am very happy with this purchase. I feel like I got a great deal for a product that has held up nicely with our "active sleeper" (we've had it for a month, as of this post). And I like the clean look of the white cover (which is removable; great for cleaning!). I get to sleep easier with this bedrail in place!

Works well on Twin size bed or larger

Easy to set up and use. Won’t work on a toddler bed unless has a heavy mattress to hold it down.

Pretty good bed rail for the price.

This bed rail has worked pretty well for my toddler who kept rolling out of the bed.Pros: Easy to assemble and made well.Cons: The strap that goes under the mattress does not stay in place well. It's also frustrating when you have to keep lifting the mattress to adjust it.For the price and quality of the product I will still keep it as it's keeping my little from rolling out if bed.

Works well.

Been using it for six months now. It’s really easy to set up and works well. Only issue is if your bed is not too high like mine, and the rail is actually taller than the bed so the rail comes out in angle when you put it down. But not an issue overall.

Great Bed Rail

We have gotten these 3 times already for different beds and would highly recommend. They create a sturdy bed rail barrier but are soft if your child rolls into them. I like the mesh material so you can see through it so it doesn't feel like they are 'trapped'. It was so easy to put together, the metal frame just clicks together.

Keeps your kid in bed

Works as it should, not as sturdy as I would have hoped though. My toddler rolled one night and instead of stopping her, she went through it and it bent.

Your baby will feel safe. No falling into the night.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It's easy to use and no harm to your toddler. My daughter like it.Safety:It's help your toddler not to fall.

Toddler Contained!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This had good reviews and was a brand I had heard of before and seen in store. I knew we’d be traveling and my 3yo would be sleeping in a “big kid bed”. We bought this since he’s fallen out of his toddler bed before. Despite his protests that he didn’t need it, it certainly kept him from falling out of bed!! This rail feels sturdy and is easy to adjust once you know how it works. It definitely doesn’t work well with platform beds (as stated) if the mattress is inset a little bit but it is doable. This helped know our son was safe while we traveled - and we’ve moved to a full size bed at home and continue to use it.
