Need as a bed because I was tired of sleeping on the hardwood floor. Slept on it for 3 nights and it was perfect. Takes 6 "C" batteries. Yikes! I did not notice any deflating in those three nights. The height and support is so much better than the floor. Easy to fill once you have the batteries. Hate the outdoors so it will never go camping. Maybe it'll fit in my car this summer...lol. Let's go travel.

We got this to host teen sleepovers. This queens size comfortably fit two 15 year old girls comfortably and it was still fully inflated the next morning. We’re very happy with this purchase.

This Intex Dura-beam airbed is convenient and budget friendly. Reason for buying: spare bed for visitors and/or use for when traveling.PROS: (1-5; 1 low, 5 highest)• Softness level when laid on is rated 4, great! - it does not sank or felt stiff for the body, almost better than a regular mattress.• Smoothness level of the top surface is rated 4; it is made of velvet material and it keeps the sheets from moving or sliding.• Bed size & height is accurate, rate 5, sheets fits well and does not feel that its close to the ground when slept on.• Automatic Pump, rate 1, requires 6-C Batteries, it is sold separately, please buy ahead of time.• Price is average, rate 3. It goes higher if bought with automatic/manual pumps.CONS:• Deflates a little after days passes by. I thought the super tall ones would be comfortable but they were not. I opted for this smaller one and slept soooo good. I’ve used it several times now and it’s held up great. I’m a big girl and I’ve never had to reinflate it during the night. Very quiet when you move around and airs up completely in about 6-8 minutes. Perfect for camping or having guests. Low to the ground but way better than the tall ones.

I have no idea how this POS achieved a 4.2 rating (which is why I bought it), but let me breakdown the issues that make it a POS:1. There are two air valves connected together (do you pull one and they both come out) and neither are secured to prevent leaking, just a push and hope friction connection with 100% chance of leaking (which we had) .2. The pump requires 20$ worth of batteries, after which, it takes 1 hour to inflate 70% because the pump is horribly weak…. You’ll never get to 100% because the pump is so weak… and even if you did, the inlet valve isn’t a one way valve, so the air puts out when you pull the pump.Whatever you need a mattress for, go to Walmart or any other store to buy something that doesn’t ruin the trip where you need a mattress. One or more good night’s sleep is not worth 10 dollar savings…… and Amazon, let’s do better on vetting the products…. Even the cheap ones.

I love the quality of the blow up mattress and the feel of the fabric but unfortunately the electric pump does not work well at all and did not blow up my bed all of the way even after an hour. It was uncomfortable to sleep on and wish the pump available to purchase with the mattress had more power. I would not purchase this. Find a better pump when purchasing a blow up mattress.

Make sure you have four C batteries, on hand, to be able to inflate this because the pump doesn't have an electric cord and run on only battery power. I missed that in fine print so my mistake. Therefore I can't speak to the comfort or quality of the sir mattress but I'm sure it's going to be more comfortable than the floor. I hope this helps you avoid making the same, annoying mistake I made! Sweet dreams.

Had some unexpected guests show up that were staying for a few weeks due to a family member in the hospital. We bought this for them, to turn our computer room into a bedroom. The mattress does say the first time its inflated, and you sleep on it, when you wake, it will have less air in it.. and thats true. We pumped it up a second time and had to repeat this process for 3-4 days. But after that, it seemed fully inflated and held the air very well.As others have mentioned, the battery powered device (need to supply your own C batteries) supplied thats used to inflate this, allows you to fully inflate the bed 1 time. When you try to inflate it a second time, the batteries typically only have enough battery life to inflate the bed 75% of the way... which is unusable. Thats really terrible and forced me to buy a dedicated inflater, which dramatically increased the cost. Its possible that the batteries i used were sub-par, but it was tough finding C batteries, as many local stores do not sell them anymore. One other thing to mention. When you use this inside on hard surfaces, it does seem to make a lot of noise. So moving from side to side, getting on and getting off are much louder than you would ever expect. This isnt really a big deal if its just a single person, but if you have 2 people on it, the other person may get up to use the restroom in the night and its loud enough to wake you up. It did for me, when we decided we should have our guests use our bedroom and we use the air mattress instead.
