too short is there a extension kit for this device to mount 20 or 30 feet elsewhere?
How do you silence the alarm once power is back on? This will be downstairs, in my elderly mom's apt., she will need to know & hopfully it's simple.
So how do hear over the noise of the generator?
If power comes on but main breaker is off, will this device work? It would not seem so from install instructions.
