If you love dark chocolate, this is exceptional. Notes of cherry and coffee. Definitely not sweet at first. Let it melt to let the sweetness come out.

Dark rich chocolate great for garnishing or cooking.
Yes I can taste the chocolate but it’s dry and not creamy whatsoever. It has almost zero sweetness. It could be great for shredding and putting on a dessert or cafe mocha. Not really for just eating.

20$ for one bar of 4$ Chocolate!!!!
In the description for this item, it said "12 Total" which is a box of 12 bars. The price was around 20$ which I thought was great since it is normally twice that amount. However, what I received, over two weeks later, was one bar of chocolate (value of 4$) wrapped in two gel freezer bags, inside another aluminum colored package. I guess I paid 16$ for packaging which helped to destroy the environment? Pretty outrageous.

Not for eating
More for cooking, did not enjoy eating. It was bitter and I like dark chocolate. I would not buy this again, but can use it to make expensive brownies!

Unique heirloom chocolate favorite
My very favorite chocolate, with a distinctive, rich, complex flavor. Also fair trade, which is very important with chocolate as many cheap varieties rely on slave labor.This strength is for dark chocolate lovers, so if you aren't used to the strong stuff, you might want to try one of their other bars.It even has a bit more of a stimulating kick than most ordinary chocolate, including other dark chocolates of similar strength!Editing to add: My best friend thought she disliked chocolate for most of her life. I introduced her to this bar and she learned to like chocolate. It is absolutely that good.

A MUST try for dark chocoholics!
This bar is the pinnacle of perfection of dark chocolate. It has the perfect ratio of cocoa, fat and sugar. The bar has a great snap, the smooth chocolate immediately smothers your tongue and mouth with rich cocoa and sticks to it with that slight astringency that happens when there isn't too much fat or lecithin in the chocolate. The cocoa has a lovely rich fruity flavor. I wish I could elaborate on the type of fruits but my palate isn't refined enough to discern them.

It stings tongue when you eat it
Took a bit and it is like eating a spicy item and it stings my tongue when I eat it, terrible taste
