Red Base Waxed Amaryllis Flower Bulb with Stand, No Water Needed

These plants are such a wonderful idea, especially for elderly people who have memory issues. No need to remember to water them and they are always beautiful!! They last a very long time and bloom several times before giving up! My mother loves them! They have become an annual birthday gift.

A little green would appear, and then it would shrivel & die. A sticky brown substance began leaking from the red wax. I have bought several of these from Trader Joe’s, & they bloomed beautifully! ! This was a disaster! I wish I could get my money back

I’ve bought 4of these in 6 months and none of them grew!!!! Very poorly packaged. I love plants but these were dead when I received them. A BIG JOKE & you won’t get my money again!!!

A wonderful Mother’s Day gift!

I ordered three of these on February 20 and they arrived on February 22. All three had cropped off leaves or stems as seen in one of the pictures. After 10 days in a warm well lit room, the cropped off stems or leaves have grown quite a bit and one new bud has appeared. Have no clue what’s going on or whether I will ever see flowers, but will update the review in a couple of weeks. For now, I am somewhat embarrassed by the two that I gifted as they may never see flowers.Update: I should have waited a bit longer. The small bud in front of the picture turned out to be a bud. The slight split was the clue that I should have recognized. It is quite possible that all three will produce flowers. Will update the review again if that happens. Holland Bulbs appears to be a first rate company and was very helpful in resolving my concerns.
