It's heavy enough to use as a paperweight and it really great if you need something magnified. It does have the business name, Jacarte, etched in the bottom of the anchor, but it doesn't prevent you from reading through. I personally wouldn't get this for a cable anchor as much as I would for an attractive paperweight and magnifier. Comes in a lovely satiny-lined box that's great for gift-giving.
