KnorrFix spaghetti alla carbonara (Spagehetti alla Carbonara) (Pack of 4)

I used this for my Christmas spaghetti! My teenage son and I had an adventure using google translate translating the instructions in German. Absolutely delicious! We used bacon lard, spaghetti shells, sliced uncured deli ham and red pepper. The bacon lard wasn't such a good fit, but the sauce was delicious. Thanks so much!

This was so easy to prepare. I substituted half and half for part of the milk. And used Hormel bacon bits in place of the ham. Even my husband, who is not fond of cream sauces, had to admit this was the exception. Prepared with the substitute bacon bits, it only takes minutes. Just make sure they are real bacon bits, and add to taste. I used approx one ounce, enough to flavor but not overwhelm. Next time I will add peas, both to extend and add color.

I was looking for an easy carbonara for busy nights and found this. It can’t be found in the stores in the states and it costs more than the other Knorr flavors in the supermarket but my son loved it. You also have to translate the directions. Not hard to do though.

This sauce mix came from Germany, but it is gluten free, so I ordered it and found it delicious. There was a minor language issue as the directions were in German, but with a little translation it turned out rich and creamy

Directions are in German or something! Ate with dinner and was sick the next 2 days

Arrived undamaged however instructions in foreign language but I'll somehow translate and dress it up to my taste. I like carbonara and have never been able to find in the US. consider it expensive covid treat?
