Pre De Provence La Mer Soap Collection Gift Box

I got this soap solely because of the shape. But it is extremely easy on my hands. They are not at all dry now or chapped.

Pretty soaps, smell nice. They sit well on our foyer sink.

Unfortunately there were dents from not being properly packed. The scent was so strong it hurt my nose, and I wasn't even sure it was a good smell (or the smell that was intended). And really worst of all they were kind of flesh colored which was kind of gross. Sorry to the makers of this, just an absolute no go for me. Maybe someone else would appreciate the smell and color.

Came without being properly cushioning & was damaged though also not for someone sensitive to scents. Returned with no issues.

The box and presentation are lovely. The soaps were a little marked up, and have very little scent. They are supposed to be shea butter though and natural, so maybe they will work well. I haven't used them yet. I will update my review if they work better than they look and smell. UPDATE: After using the soaps I have to say they suds up really nicely into a rich creamy lather. You could shave using these soaps! I don't suggest them for the bath tub unless you feel like cleaning soap scum around the ring but for the shower or guest hand soaps they are great. Plus they last a long time so the price isn't that high for the quality and how long these will last. I ended up really liking these soaps but if you want a perfumed soap this isn't it. It's a mild scent but really creamy luxurious soap.

I've noticed that "sea" inspired scents are big now. Tocca just came out with a Montauk scent that is cucumber and salt air (delish!). Jo Malone also has a new ocean type scent, and even Molton Brown is getting in on it. This has a nice scent but it is not oceany like I expected. It's close to being unscented, which is great.Funny thing: my 24 year old son saw that I was getting soap from Amazon and asked "Is there any of that shell shape kind?" Where did that come from? Has he been pining away for shell shaped soap his entire life? Weird. So he was happy to see these in their pretty box. When he used them he reported they are very hard to touch and not smushy, so they will last longer than Dial would.Great value.

This little gift box of soap would delight anyone -- perfect for a housewarming or any special occasion! The soap smells fantastic and is packaged with the two soaps nestled in confetti paper. The scent is heavenly! I can see these displayed in a guest bathroom and they are almost too pretty to use. Yes, I COULD give these away to a friend, but I am keeping for myself. They look lovely on a shell dish I have. The color goes with any theme if you want to use for decor only, but they lather well...and did I mention how good they smell?I love the products from Pre De Prevence and this is no exception. They make very high quality soaps and lotions and I definitely would buy these again.

What a lovely gift this would make. Two seashell-shaped soaps in a decorated box on a bed of straw like one would put in a gift basket. The soaps themselves are the creamiest of the creamy. They feel like they melt in my hand, except I still have a full bar when I'm done -- so smooth, so luscious. The scent? It's floral and very light.
