People writing reviews are unexperienced

Eastwood primer is some of the best stuff on the market in a can, It bonds well has fantastic leveling and forgiving properties if you forgot even a small portion, and lays on thick for a primer; it's also almost dry to the touch in about 10 minutes or less.I'm reading reviews about people having splatter as they spray, aerosol cans are not magic they need optimal conditions. You're supposed to heat up a bucket of hot water hot to the touch but not boiling and set the spray cans in the hot water for about 8 minutes if the can is even remotely cold it increases the chance of bubbling when spraying The warmer it is the more fine the spray. Same thing if you are spraying the whole can in one shot, that's a lot of paint coming out of a plastic nozzle about halfway through, take the nozzle off put it on the end of a WD-40 and spray WD-40 until it comes out clear. Put back on the paint nozzle and spray on some cardboard or anything else until you get the color back. These people are having operator error and have never used a spray can.

GREAT PRIMER FAIR PRICE.

Have used Eastwood Brand B4 and was happy with results. So far this is working out good, great coverage, easy to sand and Reprime. Be sure to read the Instructions, I forgot and will have to sand before top coating. Must top coat before 24 Hours or U need to Sand and or prime again before painting. Used on Aluminum and it worked Flawlessly.

Excellent coverage and adhesion

1966 corvette chrome grille needed light sanding, priming and finish coat as model year dictated. Excellent primer that prepped the chrome areas for finish paint of my choice. Grille came out better than expected with great adhesion.

Sprays drops!

In the past, I've used Krylon and Rustoleum Brands but was hit and miss when it came to this problem. Could it be my finger pressure on the nozzle? Could it be how I initially shake the can? Worked next door to a paint shop and found neither one of these applied! Over the years, it has been hit and miss because a can's pressure is hit and miss! First I use a piece of cardboard to gauge it's spraying power and boy this was over pressured! (On the plus side, if it's sitting on a shelf, over time cans can lose pressure.) They spray at about a foot away was a vertical foot and a half! My fingers got drenched but figured after 5 seconds, I relieved the initial burst of pressure, no so. As I sprayed it stuttered, very misty (which I do like as it gets into all the crevices!) But again, drops! Fortunately I kept a distance and one happened to get on the finished project (Computer chassis) inside so it won't be noticed. This case will be exposed some and will follow up in the future if it holds but the paint I'll be using is Rustoleum Black, nothing towards Eastwood, it's what I use to keep my cases consistent.

Laid down nicely

All and all it worked well. Tip spattered a little bit but not a big deal.

Worked with aluminum flashing

Used with aluminum as a base for painting a sign. Been out in the summer and winter elements for months now and no sign of wear.
