Very resourceful.

I am a law student and I do lots of volunteer work on wrongful conviction cases both state and federal. This book is amazing and provides legal language from many countries Americas laws are based on.

Loads of information if you need a refresher in legal issues. Great value for the money.

I use rhis to inteeprer all my legal situations and doing so gives me the advantage.

This book is big, bulky and jam-packed with information. Used by people like myself who did not study law, it is relatively easy to navigate, just like all dictionaries, it is alphabetized and sometimes will point you to an alternative word/phrase to clarify meanings. I am finding it to be very useful in my pursuit of understanding legalese.

Unlike some of the images of this book In reviews, the copy I received has no thumb indexing for easy word finding. The cover is, I believe, thin and flimsy with a noted bend in the front (picture). That said, it is perhaps not useful to judge a book by its cover (or a look by the lover, per ABC).

I am not an attorney, I do not practice law, nor am I a crusader. I have little desire to become proficient in the content of this work. I however find myself entangled in situations that require translation to the point of frustration. This was purchased to satisfy many curiosities. Not only has it become a valuable reference; but has revealed more than one instance of incompetence. Also, a historical road map to a world in which reputations is the only capitol to ones' maintenance.

The book is outstanding. I received it when promised. I am thankful.
