Got my copy an hour ago and I’ve already read half aloud to my family. Funny, sad, informative—just what we resistors need to keep up morale. If you have intelligent family members, congratulations, and this would be a perfect gift! Thanks for authoring such encouraging prose, Mr. Lithgow.

OMG! This book is comforting to know I'm not alone in my displeasure of the current occupant in our Oval! The poems are dead on, the illustrations are perfect, & the facts shared hits the head on the nail! I bought one for me7 one for a gift! Much lighter reading than the Mueller Report; although every American should read it.

How lucky we are to have the multi-talented John Lithgow commenting on the folly and terror that is the current Administration. With clever verse and charming illustrations, Mr. Lithgow shares his abundant talents, providing humor and insight as we struggle to survive until impeachment or the next election...whichever comes first.

For me, this is a great work done by a creative genius. I don't care which side of the political spectrum one is on, it will offer the readers a lot of laughs. This political humor satirical offering should be read...and enjoyed for the laughter that it brings to the readers. The author has also done the line drawings throughout the text.Being a retired USN Chief, I thought the one titled: "Beeb-a-Deep-Deep' was hilarious. It features 4 Generals including Flynn and Mattis. Just tickled my funny bone... LoL... The one titled 'Seven Days in November' also was excellent...This has 4 parts in it and also an afterword. In the afterword the author states 'Democracy's frail but our spirit is fine; Restrict Trumpty Dumpty to only one term". At the end of each of the offerings, the author also has a brief explanation of the 'players' in that chapter...I found it to be an outstanding collection of satire and enjoyed reading it...Most highly recommended....and for both Liberals and Conservatives!

horrible book....disrespectful of the president

Why would Amazon sell this book DUMPTY, this is the worse book I ever read. If you would be smart you would not sell it. I hope other people better than I did.

The mockery of our debaser in chief set to verse. What more can you want? Really enjoyed the poems of familiar cadence. Thank you Mr. Lithgow!

Genius book of poetic satire. Beautiful piece of American art in prose. Enjoying it thoroughly.

Written by the hilarious award winning actor , author , artist John Lithgow.It's a scathing satirical commentary to lift spirits as well as help us all cope with the current American administration and so called leader of the free world.The only way to deal with a demigod, outside of voting, is to laugh at them. Humour really is the best medicine in troubled times. And Dumpty is hilarious.I'm not connected to this book in any way but felt compelled to share the joy it's given us on Xmas day. I don't even buy books any more but this one is special and worth your time.Genuinely recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in politics or art or society or history. It even has a little red ribbon to keep your place...And there's hundreds of illustrations, songs, poems and jokes. Brilliant value for money.

For those who enjoy a literal satire read. This is the book. Takes the mickey out of Trump. A good and enjoyable read.

Absolutely brilliant book!

Absolutely hilarious. John Lithgow is a genius. The poems are so clever sometimes in the style of another poet. I've spent hours reading this book.

Marvellous and entertaining looking forward to the second one
